दहिया ने कहा कि बाबा साहेब भीमराव अम्बेडकर ने जिस संविधान की रचना की थी और लोकतंत्र का सपना संजोया था, उन्हीं सपनों को पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरु ने क्रियान्वित किया और एक स्वतंत्र लोकतंत्र की नींव रखी। वर्तमान में देश का संविधान और लोकतंत्र खतरे में है।
सोनीपत: रोहतक के कांग्रेस प्रभारी व पूर्व विधायक जयतीर्थ दहिया ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि लोकतंत्र को बचाने व देशवासियों की आवाज को बुलंद करने के लिए कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी हर कीमत चुकाने को तैयार हैं। लेकिन मोदी का अडानी के साथ क्या रिश्ता है, उनको देशवासियों के सामने यह बताना पड़ेगा।
कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी प्रकरण पर एटलस रोड स्थित सोनीपत से विधायक सुरेंद्र पंवार के कार्यालय में पत्रकारों से चर्चा कर रहे थे। पूर्व सांसद धर्मपाल मलिक, विधायक जगबीर मलिक, विधायक जयवीर बाल्मीकि, विधायक सुरेंद्र पंवार, पूर्व विधायक पदम सिंह दहिया, टीकराम संस्था के प्रधान सुरेंद्र दहिया, सीनियर डिप्टी मेयर राजीव सरोहा, भलेराम जांगड़ा, मनोज रिढाऊ, प्रेम अत्री, सुरेश त्यागी उपस्थित रहे।
