सोनीपत: राजकीय महिला महाविद्यालय की छात्राओं द्वारा चलाया गया एक दिवसीय स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम
महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. दिलबाग सिंह जाखड़ ने बताया कि इस स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम का प्रमुख लक्ष्य प्लास्टिक का प्रयोग न करने के लिए लोगों को जागरूक करना था। सबसे पहले वालंटियर्स ने महाविद्यालय प्रांगण की सफाई की। उसके बाद वॉलिंटियर्स ने जटवाड़ा स्थित ऐतिहासिक स्थल खिज्र मकबरे में सफाई अभियान चलाकर वहां पर पड़ी प्लास्टिक बोतल, थैली सहित कूड़ा करकट एकत्र किया।
सोनीपत: आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव की श्रंखला में राजकीय महिला महाविद्यालय की छात्राओं द्वारा मेगा स्वच्छ ड्राइव के अंतर्गत एक दिवसीय स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस शिविर के अंतर्गत एनएसएस वॉलिंटियर्स ने महाविद्यालय प्रांगण और ऐतिहासिक स्थलों की सफाई करते हुए स्वच्छता का संदेश दिया।

प्राचार्य डॉ. जाखड़ ने स्वयं सेविकाओं का मनोबल बढ़ाते हुए कहा कि हर नागरिक का पहला कर्तव्य बनता है कि वह अपने आस-पास सफाई का विशेष ध्यान दें। क्योंकि अगर हमारे आस-पास सफाई होगी तो बीमारियों के फैलने का भी खतरा कम रहेगा और हम स्वस्थ्य रहेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि अपने आस-पास के लोगों को भी स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूक तथा उन्हें सफाई रखने के लिए प्रेरित करें। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन महाविद्यालय की एनएसएस प्रभारी डॉ. मनजीत द्वारा किया गया। डॉ. राजेश भारद्वाज, डॉ. सुभाष सिसोदिया, डॉ. सतीश मलिक व सविता दहिया सहित स्टाफ के सभी सदस्य मौजूद रहे।
