वे बुधवार को नेताजी सुभाष मंडल द्वारा सिक्का कालोनी स्थित लक्ष्मी नारायण मंदिर में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी को श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित करने बाद लोगों को संबोधित कर रही थी। गन्नौर विधानसभा के राजपुर मंडल द्वारा गांव जाहरी में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में प्रदेश मीडिया संपर्क प्रमुख राजीव जैन ने कहा कि श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी के बलिदान के कारण कश्मीर के लोग देश की मुख्यधारा से जुड़े और वहां विकास के नये आयाम स्थापित हो रहे हैं।
