यमुना किनारे के गांवों में बेटियों के नाम लगेंगे ऑक्सिजन बाग

उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा है कि जिला सोनीपत के प्रत्येक खंड में पांच-पांच आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों को आदर्श आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र के रूप में स्थापित किया जाएगा। उपायुक्त पूनिया गुरूवार को आयोजित बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ अभियान के लिए गठित जिला टास्क फोर्स की बैठक को संबोधित कर रहे थे।
उन्होंने कहा कि आंगनवाड़ी वर्करों एवं आशा वर्करों को गांवों में लोगों से बेहतरीन तालमेल बनाते हुए नियमित रूप से घरों का दौरा करें। विशेष रूप से ऐसे घरों का दौरा किया जाए जिनमें एक परिवार मेंं एक औलाद है। उन्होंने संभावना जताई कि पहली संतान बेटी होने पर दूसरी संतान के जन्म लेने से पूर्व अवैध रूप से लिंग जांच करवाई जाती है। इससे कन्या भ्रूण हत्या को बढ़ावा मिलता है, जिसे रोकने की आवश्यकता है। इसके लिए आम जनमानस का सहयोग भी अपेक्षित है। उपायुक्त ने कहा कि सोनीपत में लिंगानुपात के स्तर को और बेहतरीन बनाना है। इसके लिए उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वे अल्ट्रासाउंड केंद्रों की नियमित रूप से जांच करें। कहीं भी अवैध रूप से लिंग जांच नहीं होनी चाहिए। ऐसा करने वालों पर कानूनी शिकंजा कसेंं। बेटियों को कोख में मारने से बचाने के लिए जरूरी है कि पुरुषों की लडक़ा-लडक़ी में भेदभाव करने वाली सोच को बदला जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि बेटियों के संरक्षण के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने के लिए बेटियों के नाम की नेम प्लेट लगाने की अनूठी योजना चलाई जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि यमुना किनारे बसे जिले के खनन प्रभावित विभिन्न गांवों में बेटियों के नाम की नेम प्लेट लगवाई जाएगी। साथ ही इन गांवों में मेधावी बेटियों के नाम से ही ऑक्सिजन बाग की स्थापना भी की जाएगी।
