‘वन लीडर वन पोस्ट’: मल्लिका अर्जुन खड़गे ने दिया नेता प्रतिपक्ष पद से इस्तीफा, अब कौन बनेगा राज्यसभा में LoP?
खड़गे ने कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को लिखे अपने पत्र में कहा, "मैं अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष पद के लिए नामांकन दाखिल करने के परिणामस्वरूप, विपक्ष के नेता, राज्यसभा के पद से अपना इस्तीफा देता हूं। निर्वाचित होने पर, वह एस निजलिंगप्पा के बाद कर्नाटक के दूसरे एआईसीसी अध्यक्ष होंगे, और जगजीवन राम के बाद इस पद को संभालने वाले एक दलित नेता भी होंगे।
नई दिल्ली: वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे ने शुक्रवार को कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष पद के लिए अपना नामांकन दाखिल करने के बाद राज्यसभा में विपक्ष के नेता पद के लिए अपना इस्तीफा भेज दिया। समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई के मुताबिक, एक नेता एक पद के उदयपुर प्रस्ताव के बाद खड़गे ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को भेज दिया है।
खड़गे ने कांग्रेस की अंतरिम अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी को लिखे अपने पत्र में कहा, “मैं अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष पद के लिए नामांकन दाखिल करने के परिणामस्वरूप, विपक्ष के नेता, राज्यसभा के पद से अपना इस्तीफा देता हूं। निर्वाचित होने पर, वह एस निजलिंगप्पा के बाद कर्नाटक के दूसरे एआईसीसी अध्यक्ष होंगे, और जगजीवन राम के बाद इस पद को संभालने वाले एक दलित नेता भी होंगे।
शुक्रवार को अपना नामांकन दाखिल करने के बाद, कर्नाटक के सांसद ने सभी प्रतिनिधियों से उन्हें वोट देने की अपील की।
खड़गे ने एआईसीसी कार्यालय में संवाददाताओं से कहा, “मैं कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रपति चुनाव में मेरा समर्थन करने के लिए सभी राज्यों के वरिष्ठ नेताओं को धन्यवाद देता हूं।”
खड़गे ने कहा, “मैं बचपन से ही कांग्रेस की विचारधारा से जुड़ा रहा हूं, उसी गांधी, नेहरू विचारधारा के लिए प्रचार करता था जब मैं आठवीं, नौवीं कक्षा में था। उनकी उम्मीदवारी का प्रस्ताव पार्टी नेताओं अशोक गहलोत, दिग्विजय सिंह, प्रमोद तिवारी, पीएल पुनिया, एके एंटनी, पवन कुमार बंसल और मुकुल वासनिक ने किया था। जी23 के नेताओं आनंद शर्मा और मनीष तिवारी ने भी उनका समर्थन किया है।
शशि थरूर ने खड़गे को बताया ‘निरंतरता का उम्मीदवार’
शुक्रवार को नामांकन दाखिल करने वाले कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर ने एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए खड़गे को कुछ मायनों में कांग्रेस का ‘भीष्म पितामह’ कहा। समाचार एजेंसी पीटीआई के हवाले से तिरुवनंतपुरम के सांसद ने कहा, “यह एक दोस्ताना मुकाबला है जो होने जा रहा है। हम दुश्मन या प्रतिद्वंद्वी नहीं हैं। उनका कोई अनादर नहीं है, लेकिन मैं अपने विचारों का प्रतिनिधित्व करूंगा।

खड़गे और थरूर के अलावा, झारखंड के पूर्व मंत्री त्रिपाठी ने कांग्रेस के केंद्रीय चुनाव प्राधिकरण के अध्यक्ष मधुसूदन मिस्त्री के साथ एक एकल चुनाव पत्र दाखिल किया। मध्य प्रदेश के पूर्व सीएम दिग्विजय सिंह और राजस्थान के सीएम अशोक गहलोत भी दौड़ का हिस्सा थे, लेकिन आखिरकार बाहर हो गए। 17 अक्टूबर को होने वाले चुनाव में 9,100 से अधिक प्रतिनिधि वोट डालने के पात्र हैं। परिणाम 19 अक्टूबर को घोषित किया जाएगा।
