नगर निगम कमीश्नर जगदीश शर्मा ने गुरुवार को नगरपालिका गन्नौर कार्यालय का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों से नगरपालिका की आय की जानकारी, स्टाफ के बारे में जाना।

नगर निगम कमीश्नर जगदीश शर्मा ने गुरुवार को नगरपालिका गन्नौर कार्यालय का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों से नगरपालिका की आय की जानकारी, स्टाफ के बारे में जाना। डेवलपमेंट चार्ज के आंकड़े मांगे, गृह कर रिकवरी कम होने का रण पूछा तो अधिकारियेां ने बताया कि कोरोना के चलते रिकवरी नहीं हो पाई है।
उन्होंने नगरपालिका सफाई निरीक्षक पोषण मलिक को आदेश दिए कि वे नियमित रूप से अवैध अतिक्रमण करने वालों के चालान काटे। सफाई व्यवस्था दुरूस्त रखें। नगरपालिका पालिका अभियंता विरेंद्र सिंह व जेई को निर्देश दिए कि वे केवल नगरपालिका अधिकृत क्षेत्र में ही विकास कार्य करें। अवैध निर्माण को रोकें और तुरंत चालान करें। कमीश्नर ने कहा कि नगरपालिका की आय बढ़ाने के लिए नगरपालिका कर्मचारी सही तरीके से काम करें। बकायदारों से बकाया वसूल करें। नगर पालिका कार्यवाहक प्रधान सुनील लंबू, सचिव प्रदीप खर्ब, लेखाकार अश्वनी शर्मा, पार्षद हरीश मदान, अशोक त्यागी आदि मौजूद रहे।
नगर पालिका कार्यवाहक प्रधान सुनील लंबू, पार्षद हरीश मदान व अशोक त्यागी ने कमीश्नर को बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के लाभार्थियों के कच्चे मकान तोड़ कर पक्के मकान का निर्माण करवाने की अनुमति लिखित में दे दी गई। जिसके बाद अधिकतर लाभार्थियों ने अपने कच्चे मकानों को तुड़वा कर मकान निर्माण कार्य शुरू कर दिया। सभी लाभार्थियों को पहली किश्त तो दे दी गई। लेकिन कुछ लाभार्थियों को किश्त नहीं दी जा रही, जिससे वे घर से बेघर हो गए हैं। अधिकारी नगरपालिका अधिकृत क्षेत्र में ही किश्त जारी करने की बात कह रहे हैं, जबकि पहले सभी को मंजूरी देकर उनके घर तुड़वा दिए गए। कमीश्नर ने उचित कार्रवाई करने का आश्वासन दिया, साथ ही अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वे प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना में कोई लापरवाही न बरते।
