प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी शुक्रवार को भुवनेश्वर पहुंचे और यहां एक बैठक में चक्रवात ‘यास’ से राज्य के विभिन्न इलाकों में हुए नुकसान की समीक्षा की। राज्यपाल गणेशी लाल, ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक, केंद्रीय मंत्रियों धर्मेंद्र प्रधान और प्रताप सारंगी ने बीजू पटनायक अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का स्वागत किया।
एसएस न्यूज.भुवनेश्वर। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी शुक्रवार को भुवनेश्वर पहुंचे और यहां एक बैठक में चक्रवात ‘यास’ से राज्य के विभिन्न इलाकों में हुए नुकसान की समीक्षा की। राज्यपाल गणेशी लाल, ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक, केंद्रीय मंत्रियों धर्मेंद्र प्रधान और प्रताप सारंगी ने बीजू पटनायक अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का स्वागत किया। हवाई अड्डे पर ही सम्मेलन कक्ष में यह बैठक अभी भी जारी है। ज्ञात हो कि चक्रवात यास से जुड़ी घटनाओं में अब तक चार लोगों की मौत हो गयी जबकि इसके कारण ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल और झारखंड में 21 लाख से अधिक लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाया गया।
चक्रवात के कारण ओडिशा में तीन लोगों और पश्चिम बंगाल में एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गयी। पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ने दावा किया है कि इस प्राकृतिक आपदा के कारण कम से कम एक करोड़ लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं। ‘ताउते’ के बाद एक सप्ताह के भीतर देश के तटों से टकराने वाला ‘यास’ दूसरा चक्रवाती तूफान है। प्रधानमंत्री ओडिशा के प्रभावित इलाकों का हवाई सर्वेक्षण भी करेंगे। इसके बाद वह पश्चिम बंगाल के चक्रवात प्रभावित इलाकों का हवाई सर्वेक्षण करेंगे और वहां भी एक समीक्षा बैठक करेंगे।
