उन्होंने बीएसएफ के क्षेत्रीय अधिकार क्षेत्र को वापस लेने की भी मांग की। “हमारे देश के संघीय ढांचे की रक्षा करना प्रमुख महत्व का होना चाहिए। हम सभी संस्थानों और केंद्रीय एजेंसियों का गहरा सम्मान करते हैं। आने वाले दिनों में हम अपने लोगों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए राज्यों और केंद्र के बीच बेहतर सहयोग की उम्मीद करते हैं।”
