नई दिल्ली: मध्य प्रदेश के उज्जैन में संतों के विरोध के बाद भारतीय रेलवे ने रामायण एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन में सेवा कर रहे वेटरों की पोशाक को भगवा रंग में बदलने के अपने आदेश को वापस ले लिया है। आईआरसीटीसी द्वारा संचालित रामायण एक्सप्रेस में सवारों के भगवा पोशाक पर संतों ने कड़ी आपत्ति जताई थी और इसे हिंदू धर्म का “अपमान” करार दिया था। उन्होंने 12 दिसंबर को ड्रेस कोड वापस नहीं लेने पर दिल्ली में ट्रेन रोकने की धमकी दी थी।

उन्होंने कहा कि अगर वेटरों का भगवा ड्रेस कोड नहीं बदला गया तो संत दिल्ली के सफदरजंग रेलवे स्टेशन पर ट्रेन को रोक देंगे, यह हिंदू धर्म की रक्षा के लिए जरूरी है। इंडियन रेलवे कैटरिंग एंड टूरिज्म कॉरपोरेशन (IRCTC) ने इस एजेंसी की रिपोर्ट चलाने वाले एक मीडिया आउटलेट को रीट्वीट करते हुए कहा कि यह सूचित करना है कि सर्विस स्टाफ की पेशेवर पोशाक के रूप में सर्विस स्टाफ की पोशाक पूरी तरह से बदल दी गई है।
