खिलौने रोते हुए बच्चे के चेहरे पर मुस्कान ला सकते हैं। बच्चे के जीवन में खिलौने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। खिलोना बच्चे के आत्म-सम्मान, उसके व्यक्तित्व का निर्माण कर सकता है और क्षमताओं को सुधारने में उनकी मदद कर सकता है।

चाहे गुड़डे गुड़िया का खेल हो या फिर गिल्ली डंडाछोटे-छोटे कन्चे हो या लट्टू या फिर फिरकनी हो
कभी साइकिल के पुराने टायर को डंडे से मारकर चलाना और दौड़ते हुए उससे खेलना
तब ना मोबाइल थे और ना ही कोई वीडियो गेम
थे तो बस खिलौने
जी हां खिलौने बच्चों के विकास में सहायक होते है
बच्चे खेल और खिलौनों के माध्यम से ही अनेक बातें सीखते हैं. खेलखेल में ही बच्चों का शारीरिक, बौद्धिक एवं सामाजिक विकास होता है और खिलौनों के साथ खेल कर धीरेधीरे बच्चों की अपनी समझ बढ़ती है और दूसरों पर उन की निर्भरता कम होती जाती है। यह एक प्राकृतिक प्रक्रिया है। माता-पिता सिर्फ अच्छे खिलौने दे कर उन के विकास की प्राकृतिक प्रगति को गति प्रदान कर सकते हैं।

हार की झुंझलाहट से निपटना सिखते हैं। वे धीरजवान भी बनते है। एक दूसरे का ख़्याल रखने और तालमेल विकसित करने में खिलौने शिक्षक की भूमिका निभाते है। खिलौने कल्पना एबं रचनात्मकता विचार को जाग्रत करते हैं। यदि आप अपने बच्चे को तनाव में देखते हैं तो उसे तुरंत मोबाइल पकड़ा देते है लेकिन हर बार ऐसा करना ठीक नहीं, बच्चे को इस बार किसी खेल खिलौनों की तरफ ही आकर्षित करें, क्योंकि बच्चों के लिए मोबाइल से भी ज्यादा खिलौने जरूरी है
