सरकार को कोई भी ऐसा क़दम नहीं उठाना चाहिए जिससे किसानों के साथ टकराव के हालात पैदा हों। सरकार को टकराव के बजाय समाधान की तरफ बढ़ना चाहिए। ये कहना है पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और नेता प्रतिपक्ष भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा का। हुड्डा का कहना है कि किसान सरकार से किसी तरह का टकराव नहीं चाहते। उनका कहना है कि तीन कृषि कानून उनके हक़ में नहीं हैं। इसलिए इन्हें तुरंत वापस लिया जाना चाहिए।

नेता प्रतिपक्ष का कहना है कि सरकार की ज़िद के चलते आंदोलन लंबा खिंचता जा रहा है। 2 महीने से किसान अपना घर छोड़कर दिल्ली बॉर्डर पर धरना दे रहे हैं लेकिन सरकार अपनी ज़िद छोड़ने के लिए तैयार नहीं है। हैरत की बात है कि सरकार ने अब तो किसानों के साथ बातचीत तक करना बंद कर दिया है।
भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने साधा सरकार पर निशाना : लाल क़िले पर हुई हिंसा निंदा की जाती है इसकी निष्पक्ष जांच हो: हुड्डा
अगर सरकार बातचीत ही बंद कर देगी तो फिर समाधान कैसे निकलेगा? आंदोलनकारियों की बिजली व पानी सप्लाई रोकने पर भी भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने नाराजगी जाहिर की। उन्होंने कहा कि शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से धरना दे रहे किसानों को इस तरह से परेशान करना जायज़ नहीं है। भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने पत्रकारों के सवालों का जवाब देते हुए ये बातें कहीं।
हुड्डा आज स्थित कलानौर सतजिंदा कल्याणा कॉलेज के स्वर्ण जयंती कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे थे। कॉलेज प्रबंधन की तरफ से आज कॉलेज का गोल्डन जुबली कार्यक्रम मनाया गया। इस मौक़े पर पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हुड्डा ने कॉलेज प्रबंधन को संस्थान की उपलब्धियों के लिए बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि समाज को आगे बढ़ाने में शिक्षण संस्थानों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। क्योंकि आज के दौर में वही समाज, प्रदेश और देश आगे बढ़ेगा जो शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में आगे होगा।
