वे रोहतक में पत्रकार वार्ता के दौरान बात करद रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि पहले दिन से किसानों की मांगों का समर्थन कर रहे हैं और आगे भी करते रहेंगे। कांग्रेस नेता भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने 26 को ट्रैक्टर परेड के दौरान लाल क़िले पर हुई हिंसा की निंदा की। उन्होंने लाल क़िले पर हुई हिंसा के सम्बन्ध में पूछे गए एक सवाल का जवाब में कहा कि इसकी निष्पक्ष जांच हो। जांच में पता लगना चाहिए कि वो कौन लोग थे जो अनुशासित और शांतिपूर्ण आंदोलन को ख़राब करने की मंशा से लाल क़िले पर पहुंचे। हुड्डा ने कहा कि लाखों की तादाद में किसान ट्रैक्टर परेड का हिस्सा बनने दिल्ली पहुंचे थे। इतनी बड़ी तादाद के बावजूद एक जगह को छोड़कर कहीं से किसी तरह के टकराव, अनुशासनहीनता गतिविधि की ख़बर नहीं आई।
नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि 3 कृषि क़ानून किसानों के हक़ में नहीं हैं। वो अपनी जायज़ मांगों को लेकर संघर्ष कर रहे हैं। लगातार आंदोलनरत किसानों की जानें जा रही हैं। सरकार की तरफ से उनके परिवारों की कोई मदद नहीं की जा रही। पंजाब सरकार की तरह हरियाणा सरकार को भी शहीद किसानों के परिवारों को आर्थिक मदद और एक नौकरी देनी चाहिए।
अभय चौटाला के इस्तीफ़े को लेकर पूछे गए सवाल का जवाब देते हुए हुड्डा ने कहा कि उनके इस्तीफ़े से किसानों को नहीं बल्कि सरकार को फ़ायदा होगा। क्योंकि हम विधानसभा में सरकार के ख़िलाफ़ अविश्वास प्रस्ताव लाने जा रहे हैं। अभय चौटाला के इस्तीफ़े से विपक्ष का एक वोट कम हो गया है। सरकार बचाने के लिए अब गठबंधन को अब 46 की बजाय 45 वोटों की ज़रूरत होगी।
