केरल बारिश: आईएमडी ने आज जारी किया छह जिलों के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट

नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने रविवार को केरल के छह जिलों के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया। राज्य में पुलिस बल कथित तौर पर हाई अलर्ट पर है क्योंकि कोच्चि के कई हिस्से जलमग्न हैं। जिन छह जिलों के लिए आईएमडी ने भारी बारिश की चेतावनी दी है, वे हैं कोल्लम, पठानमथिट्टा, अलाप्पुझा, एर्नाकुलम, इडुक्की और कोच्चि। ओनमानोरमा की एक रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि राज्य की राजधानी तिरुवनंतपुरम मंगलवार को छह अन्य जिलों के साथ ऑरेंज अलर्ट के तहत आ जाएगा।

बारिश की भविष्यवाणी के मद्देनजर, राज्य ने राज्य के सभी जिलों में आवश्यक व्यवस्था की है। समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई ने बताया कि शनिवार शाम को मुख्य सचिव वीपी जॉय ने सभी संबंधित विभागों के साथ बैठक बुलाई और जिला कलेक्टरों को तैयारी तेज करने का निर्देश दिया है।
बाढ़ राहत शिविर शुरू कर दिए गए हैं क्योंकि यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो भूस्खलन और बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में लोगों को स्थानांतरित किया जाएगा। जलजमाव वाले क्षेत्रों से पानी पंप करने की भी व्यवस्था की गई है। पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में लोगों को आने-जाने से बचने के लिए कहा गया है और पर्यटकों को आपदा प्रबंधन द्वारा पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में यात्रा न करने और जहां कहीं भी रहने के लिए कहा गया है।
आईएमडी ने कथित तौर पर भविष्यवाणी की है कि मानसून रविवार को दक्षिणी अंडमान सागर, निकोबार द्वीप समूह और बंगाल की दक्षिण खाड़ी तक पहुंच जाएगा।
