शहर सोनीपत के ककरोई चौक पर दंगाइयों ने एक दुकान खाली करवा ली उसके विरोध में दुकानदार अपने पूरे परिवार के साथ धरने पर बैठ गया। अर्जुन साइकिल वर्क्स के बाहर पूरा परिवार धरने पर बैठ गया और पुलिस प्रशासन व गुंडागर्दी करने वालों के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करने लगा रहे थे। सूचना मिलने पर मुख्यमंत्री के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन पार्टी के मंडल अध्यक्ष मनोज गोयल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे और पीड़ित परिवार की व्यथा सुनी। गोहाना रोड पुलिस चौकी प्रभारी रामकुमार को कार्रवाई करने के लिये कहा है। पीडित परिवार के मुखिया अर्जुन देव ने बताया कि वह दुकान में पिछले 40 वर्षों से साईकिल मरम्मत का कार्य करके अपने परिवार का गुजारा कर रहे हैं ओर हमने यह दुकान स्वर्गीय ध्यान सिंह से लीज पर ले रखी है।

अर्जुन देव ने बताया कि चूंकि पहले इन दुकानो की रजिस्ट्री नहीं होती थी इसलिए स्टांप पेपर पर लिखवा कर दुकान खरीद कर रखी थी परंतु अभी हाल ही में स्वर्गीय ध्यान सिंह की पत्नी ने लालच में आकर यह दुकान किसी और को बेच दी और वह बुधवार की रात को दुकान के ताले तोड़कर सामान सड़क पर फेंकने लगा। पुलिस ने कब्जा करने वाले तत्वों को भगा दिया। पुलिस ने इस मामले में शरारती तत्वों के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कर ली है। यदि कानूनन उनका हक बनता है तो कोर्ट में दुकान खाली करवाने के लिए मामला दायर करें।
