पथिक एक है, और पथ हज़ार,
दुविधाग्रस्त है, मन का संसार।
अमर शाश्वत, क्या इस जग में,
विषय विकार पड़े, हर पग पे।
कठिन हो गई, जग की हर रीत,
कैसा आलिंगन, कैसी ये प्रीत।
