वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता ओ पी शर्मा के समर्थन में कूदे वकील एवं धार्मिक-सामाजिक संगठन

वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता ओ पी शर्मा को पत्नी के दाह संस्कार में पैरोल न देने पर शासन व प्रशासन की संवेदनहीनता को लेकर शहर के वकीलों एवं समाजसेवी संगठनों ने माननीय राष्ट्रपति एवं महामहिम राज्यपाल के नाम ज्ञापन एसडीएम फरीदाबाद को सौंपा गया। ज्ञापन सौंपने वालों में अधिवक्ता अनिल पाराशर पूर्व अध्यक्ष बार एसोसिएशन, सचिव नरेन्द्र पाराशर, नरेन्द्र शर्मा, संतराम शर्मा, अनुज शर्मा, अजय सिंह, नीरज सचदेवा, अशोक अरोड़ा, ओमदत्त के अलावा प्रदेश कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता एवं सचिव सुमित गौड, प्रदेश महासचिव बलजीत कौशिक, प्रदेश प्रवक्ता जितेन्द्र चंदेलिया, आरटीआई एक्टीविस्ट वरूण श्योकंद, समाजसेवी बाबा रामकेवल सहित सैंकड़ों वकील व अन्य लोग मौजूद रहे।
ज्ञापन में कहा गया कि ओ पी शर्मा वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता, जोकि किसी केस में जेल में बद हैं की धर्मपत्नी बीरबाला शर्मा का निधन 2 सितम्बर को हो गया था। अपनी पत्नी के दाह संस्कार में शामिल होने के लिए ओ पी शर्मा ने प्रशासन से पैरोल मांगी थी, मगर जिला उपायुक्त ने उन्हें पैरोल नहीं दी। इतना ही नहीं, उनके परिजनों को इधर-उधर भटकाकर मानसिक रूप से प्रताडि़त किया गया। ज्ञापन के माध्यम से कहा गया कि बड़े-बड़े सजायाफ्ता मुजरिमों को भी अपने परिजनों की मृत्यु होने पर दाह संस्कार में शामिल होने के लिए पैरोल मिल जाती है। जबकि, ओ पी शर्मा न केवल फरीदाबाद बल्कि पूरे प्रदेश, दिल्ली, नोएडा तक एक वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता एवं समाजसेवी के रूप में जाने जाते हैं। ओ पी बार काउंसिल ऑफ पंजाब एण्ड हरियाणा के एनरोलमेंट कमेटी के चेयरमैन, बार काउंसिल के चेयरमैन व 10 वर्षों तक बार काउंसिल के सदस्य रह चुके हैंं।
इसके अलावा जिला ब्राह्मण सभा के अध्यक्ष, आर्य प्रतिनिधि सभा हरियाणा की एडहॉक कमेटी के अध्यक्ष, अभिभावक एकता मंच के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सहित अनेक सामाजिक-धार्मिक संस्थाओं के पदाधिकारी रह चुके हैं। सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा बनाई गई स्टेट मॉनीटरिंग कमेटी के आधार पर जारी नेट मिनट्स की शर्तों का बेशर्मी से उल्लंघन करके ओ पी शर्मा के मानवीय अधिकारों एवं हिंदू धर्म की मान्यताओं के अनुसार अपनी पत्नी को मुर्खािग्न देने के अधिकार को बुरी तरह रौंदते हुए गैर कानूनी तौर पर हिरासत में रखने का जघन्य अपराध किया है। सरकारी अधिकारियों का ऊपर से दबाव होने की बात कहना भी शर्मनाक है, इसकी भी जांच होनी चाहिए। सभी वक्ताओं ने कहा कि जब प्रदेश के एक वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता के साथ भाजपा शासन व प्रशासन इस तरह का अमानवीय व्यवहार कर सकता है, तो आम व्यक्ति न्याय की क्या उम्मीद कर सकता है। इस मामले में जिला उपायुक्त को कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी करने की मांग की गई, जिन्होंने सामाजिक व राजनीतिक स्तर पर सरकार की छवि को धूमिल करने का कार्य किया है। आक्रोशित वकीलों ने सरकार का पुतला फूककर अपना रोष प्रदर्शन किया।
