बिड़ला ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि निवेश करने और डिजिटल इंडिया विजन की उपलब्धि में तेजी लाने के लिए एक मजबूत उद्योग आवश्यक है। बिरला ने कहा, “आगे बढ़ते हुए, मेरा मानना है कि मोबाइल उद्योग 2025 तक 5 ट्रिलियन डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था बनने के भारत के दृष्टिकोण को प्राप्त करने में महत्वपूर्ण होगा, जिसमें से 1 ट्रिलियन डॉलर का योगदान डिजिटल अर्थव्यवस्था से होगा। भारती एयरटेल के अध्यक्ष सुनील मित्तल ने कहा है कि इस क्षेत्र में नए मुकदमों से बचने के लिए नियामक व्यवस्था को सरल बनाने की जरूरत है और स्पेक्ट्रम मूल्य निर्धारण और कम शुल्क में कमी के लिए पिच किया।
