वे रविवार को श्रीसुंदर कांड यज्ञ समिति के तत्वावधान में सेवा कुंज नेहरू पार्क में आयोजित दो दिवसीय 35वें वार्षिकोत्सव में संबोधित कर रहे थे। समारोह के अंतिम दिन 51 कुंडीय यज्ञ में 51 परिवारों द्वारा आहुति डाली गई, जिसमें मुख्य रूप से मुख्यमंत्री के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन पहुंचे थे। स्वामी दिव्यानन्द भिक्षु जी महाराज ने कहा कि विवेक निकम्मा और पंगु नहीं होना चाहिए, किंतु कर्म भी विवेकहीन नहीं होना चाहिए। बिना विचार किए किया गया काम पछतावा देता है। कर्महीन विवेक भी व्यक्ति को अकर्मण्य बना देता है। उन्होंने कहा कि केवल कमा लिया, खा लिया और पशुवत जीवन जी लिया, उनके लिए यह मार्ग नहीं है। इसी के लिए भगवान ने साधना के अनेक साधन दिए हैं। साधक किस मार्ग का अधिकारी है, यह महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय लिए बिना मनमर्जी की प्रिय लगने वाली साधना योग का आश्रय यूं नहीं लेना चाहिए। समिति द्वारा श्री राम मंदिर निर्माण के लिए 1 लाख 51 हजार रुपए दिए गए तथा गरीब परिवारों को राशन वितरण किया गया।
