गुजरात मोरबी पुल हादसा: मोरबी पुल मरम्मत कंपनी के कर्मचारियों सहित नौ लोगों को किया गिरफ्तार
पुल के रखरखाव और संचालन का जिम्मा देने वाली एजेंसियों के खिलाफ गैर इरादतन हत्या के आरोप में प्राथमिकी दर्ज की गयी है. घड़ियां और ई-बाइक बनाने वाली कंपनी ओरेवा ग्रुप को पुल के नवीनीकरण और संचालन का ठेका दिया गया था। पुलिस ने अपनी प्राथमिकी में कहा कि यह घटना एजेंसी के कर्मचारियों के "उदार रवैये" के कारण हुई।
गुजरात: गुजरात के मोरबी जिले में पुल गिरने से 134 लोगों की मौत के एक दिन बाद, सोमवार को इस घटना के सिलसिले में नौ लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया, जिसमें संरचना की मरम्मत करने वाली कंपनी ओरेवा के अधिकारी भी शामिल थे। गिरफ्तार किए गए लोगों में दो प्रबंधक, दो मरम्मत ठेकेदार, तीन सुरक्षा गार्ड और दो टिकट विक्रेता शामिल हैं, सूत्रों ने एबीपी न्यूज को बताया।

एफआईआर में आगे कहा गया है कि संबंधित व्यक्तियों या एजेंसियों ने पुल के रखरखाव की गुणवत्ता के साथ-साथ मरम्मत कार्य पर भी ध्यान नहीं दिया। इसने आगे कहा कि एजेंसी द्वारा पर्यटकों के लिए पुल खोला गया था, यह जानने के बावजूद कि पुल के रखरखाव और प्रबंधन में उनके “कठोर दृष्टिकोण” से मानव मृत्यु हो सकती है।
