नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: भारत की सबसे धनी महिला सावित्री जिंदल, जिंदल समूह की मुखिया, ने केवल दो वर्षों में अपने भाग्य में 12 बिलियन डॉलर से अधिक की वृद्धि देखी। मिंट न्यूज वेबसाइट की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार फोर्ब्स के अनुसार, इन पिछले दो वर्षों में उनकी कुल संपत्ति 2022 में 4.8 बिलियन डॉलर से बढ़कर 2022 में 17.7 बिलियन डॉलर हो गई है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, 2019 और 2020 में 50 प्रतिशत की गिरावट के बाद उनकी संपत्ति में उछाल आया। 2018 में 8.8 बिलियन डॉलर से उनकी कुल संपत्ति 2019 में 5.9 बिलियन डॉलर और 2020 में 4.8 डॉलर हो गई।

उस वर्ष उसकी कुल संपत्ति $ 18 बिलियन को छूने के बाद वह 2021 में 10 शीर्ष सबसे अमीर महिलाओं की श्रेणी में आ गई। 18 जुलाई तक ब्लूमबर्ग बिलियनेयर इंडेक्स के अनुसार उनकी कुल संपत्ति 10.5 बिलियन डॉलर है। जिंदल समूह 18 अरब डॉलर का समूह है जिसकी स्थापना उनके दिवंगत पति ओम प्रकाश जिंदल ने की थी। उनके बेटे सज्जन जिंदल जेएसडब्ल्यू स्टील चलाते हैं, जबकि जिंदल स्टील एंड पावर का प्रबंधन नवीन जिंदल करते हैं।
फोर्ब्स के अनुसार, वैश्विक अरबपतियों की सूची में, उनकी स्थिति 2020 में 349 से बढ़कर 2022 में 126 हो गई। वह सक्रिय राजनीति में भी शामिल हुईं और भूपिंदर सिंह सरकार में हरियाणा में मंत्री के रूप में कार्य किया।
20 मार्च 1950 को जन्मीं सावित्री जिंदल असम के तिनसुकिया शहर में पली-बढ़ीं। उन्होंने 1970 में ओपी जिंदल से शादी की। उन्होंने एक बार कहा था कि जिंदल परिवार में महिलाएं घर की प्रभारी होती हैं जबकि पुरुष बाहर की हर चीज का ख्याल रखते हैं, फोर्ब्स के अनुसार। ओपी जिंदल हरियाणा सरकार में मंत्री और हिसार निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से हरियाणा विधानसभा के सदस्य थे।
