राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या-44 पर कुंडली बार्डर पर धरनारत किसानों के स्वास्थ्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए 18 दिन में जिला प्रशासन ने 48 हजार 513 मास्क वितरीत किए हैं। यह कार्य अभी बंद नहीं हुआ है। 15708 की थर्मल स्कैनिंग और 151 की ड्रेसिंग की गई जबकि 11254 इम्यूनिटी बूस्टर वितरित कर 14070 पैरासिटामॉल बांटी गई हैं।

उपायुक्त ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य जांच के दौरान ऐसे किसानों को भी अस्पताल में रैफर किया जाता है जिन्हें उपचार की तुरंत प्रभाव से जरूरत हो। 21 किसानों को रैफर कर चुके हैं, जिनमें एक मृतक किसान का मामला शामिल है। धरनारत किसानों के स्वास्थ्य की देखभाल जिला प्रशासन की प्राथमिकता में शामिल है। स्वास्थ्य जांच के दौरान किसानों में बुखार की शिकायत मिली है। बुखार पीडि़त किसानों की सूची भी तैयार की गई ताकि उनकी कोविड-19 की जांच की जा सके। किंतु किसान इसके लिए आगे नहीं आ रहे हैं। यह चिंता का विषय है। उपायुक्त ने धरनारत किसानों से अपील की कि वे अपनी कोरोना जांच अवश्य करवायें। धरनारत किसानों के लिए अलग से इसकी व्यवस्था की गई है। यदि कोरोना पीडि़त किसान मिलते हैं तो उनके लिए उपचार की अलग से व्यवस्था है। इसलिए किसानों को अपनी कोरोना जांच के लिए आगे आना चाहिए। उन्होंने किसानों से मास्क व सैनेटार्ईजर के प्रयोग के लिए भी अपील की। उन्होंने कहा कि किसानों को अपने तथा दूसरों के स्वास्थ्य का ध्यान रखना चाहिए। इसलिए उन्हें कोविड-19 के संदर्भ में जारी दिशा-निर्देशों की अनुपालना करनी चाहिए।
