राज्य की स्वास्थ्य मंत्री वीना जॉर्ज ने गुरुवार को कहा कि केरल में जीका वायरस का पहला मामला सामने आया है। 24 वर्षीय गर्भवती महिला को पिछले महीने बुखार, सिरदर्द और रैशेज हो गए थे।
नई दिल्ली: राज्य की स्वास्थ्य मंत्री वीना जॉर्ज ने गुरुवार को कहा कि केरल में जीका वायरस का पहला मामला सामने आया है। 24 वर्षीय गर्भवती महिला को पिछले महीने बुखार, सिरदर्द और रैशेज हो गए थे। पहले परिणामों में जीका वायरस का हल्का सकारात्मक संकेत मिला और बाद में परीक्षण किए गए 19 नमूनों में से 13 में भी जीका पॉजिटिव पाया गया। जॉर्ज ने कहा कि सभी नमूने अब एनआईवी पुणे भेजे गए हैं।
जॉर्ज ने कहा, “स्वास्थ्य विभाग और जिला अधिकारियों ने इस मुद्दे को जब्त कर लिया है और एडीज प्रजाति के मच्छरों के नमूने एकत्र करके उपाय किए हैं, जो इसे अपने काटने से लोगों तक पहुंचाते हैं। सभी जिलों को इसके बारे में सतर्क कर दिया गया है और उपाय शुरू कर दिए गए हैं।” जोड़ा गया। जीका वायरस गर्भवती महिलाओं के लिए जटिलताएं पैदा कर सकता है।
