मृतक की पहचान दो दिन बाद उत्तर प्रदेश के बदायू निवासी शहाबुद्दीन के बेटे आशिफ उर्फ काला (19) के रूप में हुई थी। वह 15 साल से देवडू में रह रहे थे। पुलिस ने शनाख्त के बाद मामले में देवड़ू निवासी रितेश को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। रितेश और आशिफ पड़ोसी दोस्त थे। पुलिस ने रितेश को एक दिन के रिमांड पर लेकर पूछताछ शुरू कर दी है। रितेश ने शुरुआती पूछताछ में बताया कि एक सप्ताह पहले आशिफ ने बात करने के लिए उसका मोबाइल ले लिया था। इसके बाद उसने मोबाइल वापस नहीं किया। इसी को लेकर दोनों में झगड़ा हुआ था।
रितेश ने बताया कि उसने रंजिश के चलते साथ में नशा करने को आशिफ को बुलाया था। आशिफ को ज्यादा नशा कराया, नशा होने पर मोबाइल को लेकर दोबारा तकरार हो गई। इसी बात को लेकर डंडे से हमला कर दिया जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई।
सेक्टर-27 सोनीपत, थाना प्रभारी, दर्पण सिंह ने बताया कि युवक की हत्या मोबाइल को लेकर हुई मारपीट के कारण हुई थी। मामले में मुख्य आरोपी को पकड़ लिया है। दो अन्य नाम हैं। उनको गिरफ्तार किया जाएगा।
