जीटी रोड स्थित प्रयास इंटरनेशनल स्कूल में शनिवार को शहीदों के सम्मान में एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में विधायक निर्मल चौधरी ने बतौर मुख्यातिथि व एसडीएम सुरेंद्र दून और खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी कर्मबीर सिंह ने बतौर विशिष्टातिथि शिरकत की।
गन्नौर: जीटी रोड स्थित प्रयास इंटरनेशनल स्कूल में शनिवार को शहीदों के सम्मान में एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में विधायक निर्मल चौधरी ने बतौर मुख्यातिथि व एसडीएम सुरेंद्र दून और खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी कर्मबीर सिंह ने बतौर विशिष्टातिथि शिरकत की। इस अवसर पर विधायक ने शहीदों को नमन करते हुए उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। इसके उपरांत उन्होंने स्कूल के प्रांगण में पौधारोपण भी किया।

निर्मल चौधरी ने कहा कि हमें कभी शहीदों के बलिदान को भुलाना नहीं चाहिए। देश की सीमा व हमारी रक्षा के लिए जवान अपने प्राण तक न्यौछावर कर देते हैं। हमें ऐसी महान शख्सियतों को हमेशा सम्मान देना चाहिए। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को देशभक्ति का संदेश दिया। उन्होंने स्कूल स्टाफ को भी संदेश दिया कि वे बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा देने के साथ-साथ देशभक्ति की भावना भी जागृत करें। उन्होंने कहा कि अच्छी शिक्षा की बदौलत हम देश की उन्नति में अपना सहयोग दे सकते हैं।
