बंगाल:केंद्र सरकार ने टीएमसी के नेता मुकुल रॉय से वीआईपी सुरक्षा वापस ली
पश्चिम बंगाल के वरिठ नेता और विधायक मुकुल रॉय की 'जेड' श्रेणी की वीआईपी सुरक्षा उनसे वापस ले ली गई है। आधिकारिक सूत्रों से यह जानकारी मिली है। रॉय कुछ दिन पहले भाजपा छोड़कर तृणमूल कांग्रेस (टीएमसी) में वापस आ गए थे।
एसएस न्यूज.नई दिल्ली। पश्चिम बंगाल के वरिठ नेता और विधायक मुकुल रॉय की ‘जेड’ श्रेणी की वीआईपी सुरक्षा उनसे वापस ले ली गई है। आधिकारिक सूत्रों से यह जानकारी मिली है। रॉय कुछ दिन पहले भाजपा छोड़कर तृणमूल कांग्रेस (टीएमसी) में वापस आ गए थे।
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (सीआरपीएफ) को 67 वर्षीय पश्चिम बंगाल के वरिठ नेता और विधायक मुकुल रॉय की सुरक्षा में तैनात जवानों को वापस बुलाने का निर्देश दिया है। मुकुल रॉय और उनके बेटे शुभ्रांशु पिछले हफ्ते कोलकाता में पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी के नेतृत्व वाली टीएमसी में शामिल हो गए। सूत्रों ने बताया कि भाजपा के उम्मीदवार के रूप में विधानसभा चुनाव जीतने वाले रॉय ने केंद्र को पत्र लिखकर सुरक्षा हटाने को कहा था जिसके बाद यह फैसला लिया गया।
इससे पहले 2017 में तृणमूल कांग्रेस के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव के पद से हटाए जाने के बाद रॉय ने पार्टी छोड़ दी थी और नवंबर 2017 में भाजपा में शामिल हो गए थे। उन्हें भाजपा का राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष बनाया गया था। इसके बाद उन्हें केंद्रीय अर्द्धसैनिक बल सीआरपीएफ की वाई प्लस श्रेणी की सुरक्षा दी गई थी जो इस साल मार्च-अप्रैल में पश्चिम बंगाल में विधानसभा से ठीक पहले बढ़ाकर जेड श्रेणी की कर दी गई थी।
पश्चिम बंगाल के वरिठ नेता और विधायक मुकुल रॉय जब भी पश्चिम बंगाल में कहीं जाते थे तो हर बार उनके साथ सीआरपीएफ के 22-24 सशस्त्र कमांडो का जत्था होता था। सूत्रों ने बताया कि रॉय के पुत्र को सीआईएसएफ की कम श्रेणी की सुरक्षा दी गई थी, वह भी वापस ले ली गई है। अब रॉय और उनके बेटे को राज्य पुलिस सुरक्षा दे रही है।
