अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त अशोक कुमार बंसल ने कहा कि 21 जून को जिला में 50 स्थानों पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस का आयोजन किया जाएगा, जिनमें प्रत्येक कार्यक्रम में 50-50 प्रतिभागी सम्मिलित होंगे। इनमें शहरी क्षेत्र में 22 स्थान और ग्रामीण अंचल में 28 स्थानों पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस प्रात: 07:00 बजे से 07:45 बजे तक आयोजित किये जायेंगे।

एसएस न्यूज.सोनीपत। अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त अशोक कुमार बंसल ने कहा कि 21 जून को जिला में 50 स्थानों पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस का आयोजन किया जाएगा, जिनमें प्रत्येक कार्यक्रम में 50-50 प्रतिभागी सम्मिलित होंगे। इनमें शहरी क्षेत्र में 22 स्थान और ग्रामीण अंचल में 28 स्थानों पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस प्रात: 07:00 बजे से 07:45 बजे तक आयोजित किये जायेंगे।
वे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के सफल आयोजन के लिए बुधवार को लघु सचिवालय में संबंधित अधिकारियों की बैठक अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे। शहरी क्षेत्रों के अंतर्गत सोनीपत निगम क्षेत्र में 10 स्थानों तथा गोहाना व गन्नौर के शहरी क्षेत्रों में चार-चार स्थान और खरखौदा व कुंडली नगर पालिका क्षेत्रों में 2-2 स्थानों पर योग कार्यक्रम आयोजित किये जायेंगे। ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में व्यायामशालाओं में कार्यक्रम आयोजित किये जायेंगे।
उन्होंने बताया कि यह कार्यक्रम चार दिन तक नियमित रूप से चलेगा, जिसके तहत 18-19-20 जून को रिहर्सल का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इसके पश्चात् 21 जून को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस मनाया जाएगा। प्रतिदिन कुछ मिनट योग करके भी हम खुद को बिमारियों से संरक्षित रख सकते हैं। इम्यूनिटी सिस्टम की मजबूती में भी योग सहायक है। बैठक में नगराधीश जितेंद्र जोशी, नगर निगम के संयुक्त आयुक्त सुभाषचंद्र जून, पुलिस उपाधीक्षक डा. रविंद्र, आयुष विभाग के एएमओ डा. रजनीश वर्मा व डा. अमित सिंह, आरके राणा, डीडीपीओ रूपेंद्र मलिक, जिला रैडक्रॉस सोसायटी की सचिव सरोजबाला, कोच अनिल आदि अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
