रविवार को कुछ कैदियों के बीच खूनी संघर्ष हुआ जिसमें जगबीर नाम के एक हवालाती की लात घुसों से पीटने के बाद उसके गले में फंदा लगाकर उसकी बेरहमी से हत्या कर दी गई यह खौफनाक मंजर सामने आया है अब जेल प्रशासन पर सवाल उठे रहे हैं कि आखिर उस वारदात के दौरान जेल में मुलाजिम कहां थे।

सोनीपत जिला जेल में रविवार को सुबह जब हवालात से कैदियों को कैंटीन में खाना खाने के लिए बाहर निकाला गया तो उस दौरान कुछ कैदियों में झड़प हुई इस दौरान जगबीर नाम के हवालाती को लात घुसा से पीटने के बाद उसके गले में कपड़े का फंदा लगाकर उसकी हत्या कर दी गई। सूचना मिलने के बाद मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने एफएसएल टीम बुलाकर वारदात के तथ्यों पर जांच शुरू कर दी है। मौके पर सिटी थाना प्रभारी देवेंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि मृतक जगबीर जोकि संजय बुटाना के मर्डर केस में भी शामिल था जिसकी 2008 में हत्या कर दी गई थी । जिसकी पूरी तरह जांच की जा रही है।

इस घटना ने कुछ सवाल खड़े किये हैं। जिला जेल प्रशासन कर्मचारी कहां थे। यह लापरवाही है या कोई किसी की साजिश का हिस्सा, इसको अंजाम देने के लिए कोई योजना पहले की बनाई गई थी इन सवालों का जवाब पुलिस को खोजना है जांच के बाद इन सवालों का जवाब मिलेगा बाकी कुछ ओर खुलासे होंगे। मृतक जगबीर निवासी गांव कासंडी 20 फरवरी शनिवार को जेल में लाया गया था। मामला दर्ज किया जाना है जांच के बाद इसका पता चल पाएगा।
