नई दिल्ली (जीजेडी न्यूज ब्यूरो): वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने अपने केंद्रीय बजट भाषण में कहा कि भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) के नेतृत्व में ब्लॉकचेन का उपयोग करने वाला डिजिटल रुपया वित्त वर्ष 23 में लॉन्च किया जाएगा।
डिजिटल रुपया या केंद्रीय बैंक डिजिटल मुद्रा को ब्लॉकचेन तकनीक का उपयोग करके पेश किया जाएगा, मंत्री ने मंगलवार को कहा। आरबीआई ने पिछले साल अक्टूबर में डिजिटल प्रारूप में मुद्रा को शामिल करने के लिए बैंक नोट की परिभाषा के दायरे को बढ़ाने के लिए भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक अधिनियम, 1934 में संशोधन के लिए मंजूरी प्राप्त की थी।
