एसटीएफ की कामयाबी : मुठभेड़ के बाद रेंचो गैंग के सरगने समेत तीन बदमाश गिरफ्तार
एसटीएफ ने सोनीपत के सेक्टर-6 में जिमखाना क्लब के पास से मंगलवार की सुबह मुठभेड़ के बाद रेंचो गैंग के सरगना व 25हजार रुपये के इनामी सोहित उर्फ रेंचो समेत तीन बदमाश गिरफ्तार किये हैं।

एसटीएफ ने सोनीपत के सेक्टर-6 में जिमखाना क्लब के पास से मंगलवार की सुबह मुठभेड़ के बाद रेंचो गैंग के सरगना व 25हजार रुपये के इनामी सोहित उर्फ रेंचो समेत तीन बदमाश गिरफ्तार किये हैं। तीनों बदमाश रोहतक के गांव मोखरा के निवासी हैं। यह हत्या तथा लूट के आधा दर्जन से अधिक मामलों में वांछित थे। वे पेट्रोल पंप लूटने की नीयत से आए थे। मुठभेड़ में सोहित व उसके साथी राहुल उर्फ काला के पैर में गोली लगी है। वहीं बदमाशों की एक गोली एसटीएफ जवान के सीने पर लगी, लेकिन बुलेट प्रूफ जैकेट पहने होने के कारण बचाव हो गया।
डीएसपी एसटीएफ विपिन कादयान ने बताया कि एसटीएफ गुरुग्राम व सोनीपत की टीम मंगलवार तड़के पौने पांच बजे एसटीएफ यूनिट सोनीपत में मौजूद थी। इसी बीच गुरुग्राम एसटीएफ में नियुक्त एएसआई अशोक कुमार को सूचना मिली कि रोहतक के गांव मोखरा का इनामी बदमाश सोहित उर्फ रेंचो अपने दो साथियों गांव के ही बिजेंद्र उर्फ राहुल और राहुल उर्फ काला के साथ बाइक पर बहालगढ़ के पास पेट्रोल पंप लूट को अंजाम देने की फिराक में है। जिस पर तुरंत एसटीएफ ने अधिकारियों को अवगत कराया और एएसआई अशोक के नेतृत्व में एएसआई तेजवीर, एचसी नरेश व सिपाही अनिल, नीरज, सतबीर व चालक एचसी प्रवीन तथा एसआई रामनिवास के नेतृत्व में एसआई लाजपत, सिपाही बलजीत व सुनील की टीम बनाई गई। रामनिवास की टीम को हथियार व बुलेट प्रूफ जैकेट के साथ बहालगढ़ भेजा गया। वहीं अशोक की टीम सेक्टर-7 बाइपास पर मौजूद रही। इसी बीच सूचना मिली कि बिना नंबर की बाइक पर बदमाश बहालगढ़ के पास नाका तोड़कर सेक्टर-7 जिमखाना की तरफ भागे है। जिस पर पुलिस टीम ने जिमखाना क्लब के पास जाल बिछा दिया।
इसी बीच बाइक को आता देखकर पुलिस ने पकड़ने का प्रयास किया तो वह पुलिस को देखकर भागने लगे। जिस पर उनकी बाइक वहीं पर गिर गई। इसी बीच बदमाशों ने पुलिस पर फायरिंग कर दी। उन्होंने छह राउंड फायर किए। जिसमें एक गोली अशोक के सीने में आ लगी। जिसके बाद पुलिस ने दो हवाई करने के बाद दो फरार बदमाशों पर किए। इस पर सोहित और राहुल के पैरों में गोली लग गई। उन्हें पकड़ लिया गया। उसके बाद बिजेंद्र को भी काबू कर लिया गया। पुलिस ने घायल सोहित व राहुल को सामान्य अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया, जहां उन्हें पीजीआई रोहतक रेफर कर दिया गया। पुलिस ने मामले में एएसआई अशोक के बयान पर हत्या के प्रयास, सरकारी काम में बाधा पहुंचाने सहित अन्य धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया है। पुलिस आरोपी बिजेंद्र उर्फ राहुल से पूछताछ कर रही है।
गिरफ्तार आरोपियों से पुलिस ने तीन पिस्तौल व बाइक बरामद की है। आरोपियों ने 9एमएम की पिस्तौल व तीन कारतूस, 32 बोर की पिस्तौल व कारतूस तथा 315 बोर की पिस्तौल व कारतूस बरामद किए हैं। साथ ही एक बैग भी बरामद किया गया है। आरोपी सोहित उर्फ रेंचो पर तीन दिसंबर को ही 25000 रुपये का इनाम घोषित किया गया था।

वर्ष 2019 में कलानौर रोहतक में लूट के मामले में नामजद हुए।

10 जनवरी को रोहतक के बहु अकबरपुर थाने में अपहरण व हत्या का मुकदमा दर्ज हुआ।

1 जुलाई को महम रोहतक थाने में हत्या के प्रयास सहित अन्य धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज हुआ।

13 जुलाई को चौपड़ा कालोनी गोहाना में बोहर के राकेश की हत्या में नामजद हुए। सिटी थाना गोहाना में मुकदमा दर्ज है।

6 अक्तूबर को बहु अकबरपुर थाने में हत्या के प्रयास के मामले में नामजद थे।
