उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा कि सोनीपत में सोमवार की सांयकाल तक कोविड-19 कोरोना वायरस के 141 नये पोजिटिव केस दर्ज किये गये हैं। इनमें 56 महिला मरीज भी शामिल हैं। अब कोरोना वायरस के पोजिटिव मरीजों का कुल आंकड़ा 7633 हो गया है। उपायुक्त ने यह जानकारी जिला स्वास्थ्य विभाग से प्राप्त आंकड़ों के आधार पर दी।
उपायुक्त पूनिया ने कहा कि सोनीपत में कोविड-19 कोरोना वायरस के पोजिटिव मामलों में फिर से वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है। कोरोना वायरस के नये केस जिला के शहरी व ग्रामीण दोनों ही क्षेत्रों में मिले हैं। ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के अन्तर्गत गोहाना खंड के गांव सिरसाढ़ में कोरोना वायरस के सर्वाधिक आठ नए केस मिले है। शहरी क्षेत्र की बात करें तो सेक्टर-14 व सेक्टर-15 में अधिकांश नए मरीज पाए गए है, जिनकी संख्या क्रमश: छह व चार है।
शहरी क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत मिले अशोक नगर में दो, पुलिस लाईन गोहाना में एक, गोहाना के शहरी क्षेत्र मेन बाजार में पांच व देवी नगर में एक, वर्धमान सिटी में एक, गन्नौर शहर में तीन, गढी केसरी गन्नौर में एक, नमस्ते चौक गन्नौर में दो, जटवाड़ा में दो, ठसका में तीन, गन्नौर खंड के गांव रामनगर में चार, अगवानपुर में एक, हसनपुर में दो, खंदराई में एक, एपी माजरा में छह, नांगल खुर्द में दो, भिगान में एक, फरमाना में एक, थाना मुरथल में एक, बिलंदपुर में एक, बरोणा में दो, रोहट में एक, राजकीय महाविद्यालय पिपली में एक, ककरोई में तीन, बडौली में एक, करेवड़ी में एक और दुभेटा में एक नया कोरोना मरीज पाया गया है। इसके अलावा विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में कोरोना वायरस के छह नए मरीज मिले है।
