सोनीपत। मेयर निखिल मदान ने नगर निगम आयुक्त मोनिका गुप्ता से शुक्रवार को मुलाकात कर शहर की सफाई व्यवस्था को लेकर चर्चा की और जेबीएम कम्पनी की कार्य शैली को लेकर आपत्ति जताई।
मेयर ने कहा की जेबीएम कम्पनी की लापरवाही के चलते शहर में जगह जगह कूड़े के ढेर लगे हुए हैं लेकिन एजेंसी इस को गंभीरता से नहीं ले रही है। नगर निगम के सभी पार्षद आयुक्त महोदय को पत्र लिख कर एजेंसी पर कार्यवाही की मांग कर चुके हैं। घर घर से कूड़ा उठाने के कार्य में एजेंसी पूरी तरह विफल रही है। इसलिए उनकी भी यही मांग है कि हरियाणा सरकार एजेंसी पर ठोस कार्यवाही करे ताकि लोगों की समस्या दूर हो सके। मेयर निखिल मदान ने बताया की जेबीएम कम्पनी को निगम मुख्यालय चंडीगढ़ से ही टेंडर दिया जा रहा है जो तुरंत प्रभाव से निरस्त होना चाहिए।
मेयर निखिल मदान ने हाउस टैक्स विभाग में चल रही अनियमितताओं को लेकर भी निगम आयुक्त को अपनी शिकायत दर्ज कराई। इस पर निगम आयुक्त मोनिका गुप्ता ने सभी समस्याओं समाधान करने का आश्वाशन दिया और अधिकारियों को इसके लिए निर्देश दिए।
