सोनीपत/जीजेडी न्यूज: गांव अगवानपुर में वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को उनके अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक करने के लिए जिला विधिक सेवाएं प्राधिकरण (डीएलएसए) की ओर से गुरूवार को जागरूकता शिविर लगाया गया। शिविर का शुभारंभ मुख्य न्यायिक दण्डाधिकारी एवं जिला विधिक सेवाएं प्राधिकरण के सचिव रमेश चन्द्र द्वारा किया गया।
मुख्य न्यायिक दण्डाधिकारी रमेश चन्द्र ने कहा कि बुजुर्गों का परित्याग करना गैर कानूनी है। जिसमें दोषी को सजा का प्रावधान है। वरिष्ठ नागरिक किसी भी राष्ट्र की संपत्ति होते हैं। हमारे बुजुर्ग अनुभव और ज्ञान के भंडार हैं फिर भी कई मामलों में उन्हें हाशिए पर रखा जाता है और समाज के युवा वर्गों द्वारा समाज पर बोझ के रूप में देखा जाता है। वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को गरिमा के साथ सक्रिय रूप से व्यस्त आत्मनिर्भर जीवन जीने की जरूरत है।
मुख्य न्यायिक दण्डाधिकारी ने बताया कि जिला विधिक सेवाएं प्राधिकरण के द्वारा सभी वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को मुफ्त कानूनी सहायता प्रदान की जाती है। यदि युवाओं की ऊर्जा और बुजुर्गों का अनुभव के साथ उस कार्य को करें तो सफलता अवश्य मिलती है। जिला न्यायालय परिसर स्तिथ जिला एडीआर सेंटर और कानूनी सहायता नंबर 0130- 2220057 पर भी संपर्क कर सकते हैं। मुख्य न्यायिक दण्डाधिकारी ने अगवानपुर गांव की 104 वर्ष की सबसे वयोवृद्ध महिला हरदेई देवी पत्नी दुलीचन्द व वयोवृद्ध पुरूष दिलभरत सिंह व गावं की प्रथम महिला अधिवक्ता प्रियंका को सम्मानित किया। एडवोकेट विवेक गौड़, कानूनी सेवक दीपक कुमार, पूर्व सरपंच रामचंद्र भारद्वाज, सुरेन्द्र प्रधान सहित भारी संख्या में ग्रामीण उपस्थित रहे।
