खरखौदा: शहर के उपमंडल स्तरीय सामान्य अस्पताल से मंगलवार की सुबह शहीद भगत सिंह जयंती पर पीपली गांव के शिव मंदिर तक एक साइकिल रैली निकाली गई। स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता को लेकर निकाली गई इस साइकिल रैली को सरकारी हास्पिटल से एसएमओ डा. जितेंद्र कुमार व एसएमओ डा. सत्यपाल ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर किया रवाना, जबकि पीपली के शिव मंदिर में सीएचसी फिरोजपुर बांगर एसएमओ डा. अदिति ने स्वागत किया।
डा. जितेंद्र कुमार ने बताया कि मलेरिया, डेंगू के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने के साथ ही लोगों को उनके स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूक करने के लिए यह साइकिल रैली निकाली गई है। इस रैली के माध्यम से संदेश देने की कोशिश की गई है कि लोग कोरोना से बचाव के लिए वैक्सिनेशन करवाने के साथ ही अपने बच्चों को भी बीमारियों से बचाने के लिए टीकाकरण करवाएं। समय-समय पर अपने स्वास्थ्य की जांच करवाते रहें, ताकि बीमारी के बढ़ने से पहले ही उसका इलाज किया जा सके। डा. रोहित दहिया, एलटी देवेंद्र, संजय, सुनील खोखर, पूर्व सरपंच विजय उपस्थित रहे।
