वायनाड के सांसद ने अपने संबोधन की शुरुआत यह कहते हुए की कि दो भारत हैं, एक भारत बेहद अमीर लोगों के लिए है - जिनके पास अपार संपत्ति है, अपार शक्ति है, उनके लिए जिन्हें नौकरी की जरूरत नहीं है, जिन्हें पानी की जरूरत नहीं है। कनेक्शन, बिजली कनेक्शन, लेकिन देश की धड़कन को नियंत्रित करने वालों के लिए।
ये दो हिंदुस्तान आप जो बना रहे हैं, इनको जोड़ने का काम कीजिए।

और फिर गरीबों के लिए एक और भारत। इन दोनों भारत के बीच की खाई चौड़ी होती जा रही है।” राहुल गांधी ने अपने भाषण में बेरोजगारी, किसानों के मुद्दे, पेगासस स्पाईवेयर विवाद समेत कई मुद्दों को उठाया।
लोकसभा में राहुल गांधी के भाषण की कुछ मुख्य बातें इस प्रकार हैं:
1. मेरे लिए, ऐसा लग रहा था कि राष्ट्रपति का अभिभाषण एक रणनीतिक दृष्टि के बजाय नौकरशाही विचारों की एक सूची थी। यह मुझे ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे यह नेतृत्व की दृष्टि से नहीं बल्कि नौकरशाहों के एक समूह द्वारा बनाया गया है, जिन्हें सीधे शब्दों में कहना है।
2. “यूपीए सरकार ने 10 वर्षों में 27 करोड़ लोगों को गरीबी से बाहर निकाला। यह हमारा डेटा नहीं है, यह तथ्यात्मक डेटा है। भाजपा के नेतृत्व वाली एनडीए सरकार ने 23 करोड़ लोगों को गरीबी में वापस धकेल दिया,” पूर्व कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने कहा।
3. राहुल गांधी ने यह भी दावा किया कि भारत की 40 फीसदी संपत्ति कुछ चुनिंदा लोगों के पास गई है और आज 84 फीसदी भारतीयों की कमाई घट गई है, जो उन्हें गरीबी की ओर धकेल रही है।
4. “राष्ट्रपति के अभिभाषण में बेरोजगारी पर एक भी शब्द नहीं था। देश भर के युवा नौकरियों की तलाश में हैं। आपकी सरकार उन्हें एक प्रदान करने में असमर्थ है।
5. “आप रोजगार देने की बात करते हैं, 2021 में 3 करोड़ युवाओं की नौकरी चली गई। आज भारत 50 साल में सबसे ज्यादा बेरोजगारी का सामना कर रहा है। आप मेड इन इंडिया, स्टार्ट-अप इंडिया की बात करते हैं, लेकिन युवाओं को रोजगार नहीं मिला। वे करने वाले थे। वे गायब हो गए थे।
6. “आप मेड इन इंडिया की बात करते हैं। लेकिन आज मेड इन इंडिया नहीं हो सकता। मामला खत्म हो गया है क्योंकि मेड इन इंडिया में शामिल लोग कौन हैं? लघु और मध्यम उद्योग, असंगठित क्षेत्र – जिसे आपने समाप्त कर दिया है। मेड इन इंडिया होने वाला नहीं है।
7. केंद्र पर निशाना साधते हुए राहुल गांधी ने यह भी कहा कि न्यायपालिका, चुनाव आयोग, पेगासस, सभी राज्यों के संघ की आवाज को नष्ट करने के साधन हैं।
