पंजाब कांग्रेस : बॉलीवुड अभिनेता सोनू सूद की बहन कांग्रेस में हुई शामिल

चंडीगढ़: अभिनेता-परोपकारी सोनू सूद की बहन मालविका सूद सोमवार को कांग्रेस में शामिल हो गईं, पार्टी के पंजाब प्रमुख नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू ने 14 फरवरी को होने वाले विधानसभा चुनावों से पहले विकास को “गेम-चेंजर” बताया। वह पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी और सिद्धू की मौजूदगी में पार्टी में शामिल हुईं।
सिद्धू ने कहा, “ऐसा बहुत कम होता है कि कोई पार्टी प्रमुख और मुख्यमंत्री दोनों सम्मान देने के लिए किसी के घर गए हों, और वह इसकी हकदार हैं। ज्वाइनिंग पंजाब के मोगा जिले में सूद के आवास पर हुई थी और अभिनेता ने पिछले साल नवंबर में कहा था कि उनकी बहन राजनीति में शामिल होंगी।
यह पूछे जाने पर कि क्या मालविका सूद मोगा विधानसभा क्षेत्र से चुनाव लड़ेंगी, चन्नी ने संकेत दिया कि वह पार्टी की पसंद होंगी। सिद्धू ने कांग्रेस में उनका स्वागत करते हुए कहा, “यह हमारे लिए बहुत खुशी की बात है कि एक युवा महिला जिसने एक एनजीओ चलाकर अपना नाम कमाया और खुद को लोगों की सेवा के लिए समर्पित कर दिया, वह हमारी पार्टी में शामिल हो रही है।
मोगा के रहने वाले सोनू सूद ने पहले भी कहा था कि उनकी बहन ने अतीत में बहुत सारे “अद्भुत” काम किए हैं। सिद्धू और चन्नी दोनों ने पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए कहा कि अभिनेता को उनके मानवीय कार्यों के लिए जाना जाता है। मालविका सूद के कांग्रेस में शामिल होने का जिक्र करते हुए सिद्धू ने कहा, “क्रिकेट की दुनिया में इसे गेम चेंजर कहा जाता है।
सिद्धू ने कहा, “वह एक युवा और शिक्षित महिला है, और सॉफ्टवेयर इंजीनियर के रूप में उसकी शिक्षा उसके आगे के जीवन में मदद करेगी। इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए, मालविका सूद ने कहा कि उन्होंने लोगों की सेवा के लिए खुद को समर्पित करने के लिए राजनीतिक कदम उठाया है।
