जिला रैडक्रॉस सोसायटी के तत्वावधान में जारी टीआई प्रोजैक्ट के तहत आयोजित सामुदायिक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम की मेहंदी रचाओ प्रतियोगिता में प्रीति अव्वल रही, जबकि डांस स्पर्धा में गुंजन ने बाजी मारी। विजेताओं को बतौर मुख्य अतिथि डिप्टी सीएमओ डा. तरूण यादव व सोसायटी की सचिव सरोजबाला ने पुरस्कार प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया।
टीआई प्रोजैक्ट के तहत आयोजित सामुदायिक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ डिप्टी सीएमओ डा. तरूण यादव ने किया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता जिला रैडक्रॉस सोसायटी की सचिव सरोजबाला ने की। मेहंदी रचाओ प्रतियोगिता में प्रीति ने प्रथम व निशा ने द्वितीय और प्रमील ने तृतीय स्थान हासिल किया। डांस प्रतियोगिता में गुंजन ने प्रथम व निक्की तथा कोमल ने संयुक्त रूप से द्वितीय और सोनू ने तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया।
इस दौरान महिलाओं के लिए नि:शुल्क स्वास्थ्य जांच शिविर का आयोजन भी किया गया, जिसमें करीब 55 महिलाओं ने अपनी स्वास्थ्य जांच करवाई। प्रोजैक्ट मैनेजर सरोज चौधरी के नेतृत्व में टीआई टीम व आईसीटीसी काउंसलर्स जयविंद्र व डा. आदिश जैन ने 35 महिलाओं को रेगुलर चैक-अप किया। साथ ही 27 महिलाओं का एचआईवी और वीडीआरएल टेस्ट भी किया गया। जिला रैडक्रॉस सोसायटी की सचिव सरोजबाला ने टीआई प्रोजैक्ट की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि इस प्रोग्राम का मुख्य उद्देश्य महिला एवं पुरुष यौन कर्मियों को एचआईवी/एड्स व यौन रोगों के खतरे से बचाव के लिए उचित वातावरण प्रदान करने तथा उनकी एड्स जागरूकता कार्यक्रम में भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करना है। उन्होंने प्रतिभागियों को एचआईवी/एड्स के प्रति जागरूकता की शपथ भी दिलाई। कार्यक्रम के दौरान मंच का संचालन ईशू मलिक ने किया। इस अवसर पर डा. सृष्टि, सुरेखा हुड्डा, तनीशा, नैन्सी तथा टीआई प्रोजैक्ट की ओर से निशा, नीरू, पूजा, नीता और प्रमिला मौजूद थी।
