एसएस न्यूज.नई दिल्ली। आज कांग्रेस को बड़ा झटका लगा है। कांग्रेस के कद्दावर नेता और राहुल गांधी के करीबी जितिन प्रसाद BJP में शामिल हो गए। पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री और राहुल गांधी के एक समय बेहद करीबी माने जाने वाले कांग्रेस नेता जितिन प्रसाद बीजेपी में शामिल हो गए हैं। बीजेपी मुख्यालय में उन्होंने पार्टी की सदस्यता ग्रहण की। यूपी में 2022 में होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव के पहले जितिन का बीजेपी से जुड़ना, कांग्रेस के लिए बड़ा झटके के रूप में माना जा रहा है। इस ‘ बदलाव’ के पहले जितिन की केंद्रीय मंत्री पीयूष गोयल के साथ मुलाकात हुई थी। 47 वर्षीय जितिन प्रसाद, ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया के बाद बीजेपी में जाने वाले राहुल गांधी के दूसरे सबसे करीबी नेता हैं। ज्योतिरादित्य ने पिछले साल बीजेपी ज्वॉइन की थी।
जितिन कांग्रेस से 20 साल से जुड़े रहे है। लेकिन उनकी नाराजगी किसी से छुपी नहीं थी। वे उस “G-23” या यू कहे कि कांग्रेस के उन 23 नेताओं के समूह का ही हिस्सा थे, जिन्होंने पार्टी में व्यापक सुधार की जरूरत बताते हुए सोनिया गांधी को पत्र लिखा था। उन्हें पश्चिम बंगाल में कांग्रेस के प्रचार अभियान से जोड़ा गया था लेकिन इन चुनावों में कांग्रेस का प्रदर्शन बेहद निराशाजनक रहा था। जितिन ने बंगाल चुनाव में उनकी पार्टी की ओर से इंडियन सेक्युलर फ्रंट के साथ किए गए गठबंधन की सार्वजनिक तौर पर आलोचना की थी।
जितिन ने ट्वीट किया था, ‘गठबंधन के निर्णय पार्टी और कार्यकर्ताओं के हितों को ध्यान में रखकर लिए जाते हैं। अब समय है कि सभी हाथ मिलाएं और चुनावी राज्यों में कांग्रेस की संभावनाओं को मजबूत करने की दिशा में काम करें।’

उत्तर प्रदेश की धौराहरा सीट से पूर्व सांसद रहे है जितिन। राज्य में कांग्रेस के प्रमुख नेताओं में से एक रहे। ‘लेटर बम’ मामले के बाद यूपी कांग्रेस ने जितिन के खास उल्लेख के साथ G-23 के नेताओं पर कार्रवाई की मांग की थी। इस कार्रवाई को पक्ष में जितिन के परिवार की गांधी परिवार के प्रति ‘संदिग्ध निष्ठा’ का उल्लेख किया था। जितिन के पिता जितेंद्र प्रसाद ने वर्ष 1999 में पार्टी में सोनिया गांधी के नेतृत्व को चुनौती दी थी और उनके खिलाफ पार्टी अध्यक्ष का चुनाव लड़ा था।
