नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: पंजाब नेशनल बैंक (पीएनबी) ने आईएल एंड एफएस तमिलनाडु पावर कंपनी लिमिटेड के एक गैर-निष्पादित खाते (एनपीए) में 2,060.14 करोड़ रुपये की उधार धोखाधड़ी की सूचना दी है। बैंक ने कंपनी के खातों में आरबीआई को धोखाधड़ी की सूचना दी है। पीएनबी ने एक फाइलिंग में कहा, “बैंक द्वारा कंपनी के खातों में आरबीआई को 2,060.14 करोड़ रुपये की धोखाधड़ी की सूचना दी जा रही है। यह तब आया जब बैंक ने कथित तौर पर कहा कि उसने पहले ही मानदंडों के अनुसार 824.06 करोड़ रुपये तक का प्रावधान कर लिया है।

बैंक की नीति के अनुसार महत्वपूर्ण घटनाओं के निर्धारण और प्रकटीकरण पर, पीएसबी ने एनपीए को एक धोखाधड़ी खाता घोषित किया। बैंक ने एक नियामक फाइलिंग में कहा, “यह सूचित किया जाता है कि एक एनपीए खाता, अर्थात आईएल एंड एफएस तमिलनाडु पावर कंपनी लिमिटेड, जिसका बकाया 148.86 करोड़ रुपये है, को धोखाधड़ी के रूप में घोषित किया गया है और आज आरबीआई को नियामक आवश्यकता के अनुसार रिपोर्ट किया गया है।
इकोनॉमिक टाइम्स की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, कंपनी की वार्षिक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, 31 मार्च, 2021 के अंत में उसे 7,181 करोड़ रुपये का भुगतान करना पड़ा। इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर लीजिंग एंड फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज लिमिटेड (आईएल एंड एफएस) ने अपने ऊर्जा मंच के तहत तमिलनाडु के कुड्डालोर में थर्मल पावर परियोजनाओं के कार्यान्वयन के लिए एक विशेष प्रयोजन वाहन स्थापित किया है। ऋण देने वाले बैंक ऐसे खातों को आरबीआई के दिशानिर्देशों के अनुसार विशेष उल्लेख खातों (एसएमए) के रूप में वर्गीकृत करेंगे।
