शनिवार को राजीव जैन ने गृहमंत्री से टेलीफोन पर कहा कि लॉकडाउन से व्यापारियों की कमर पूरी तरह टूट चुकी है। यदि लॉकडाउन पूरी तरह नहीं हटाने का निर्णय सरकार लेती है तो ट्रायल आधार पर चार घंटे या फिर वैकल्पिक दिवस के अनुसार दुकाने खोलने की छूट प्रदान की जाये। सरकार सभी वर्गों की सुध ले रही है परंतु देश प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था के कर्णधार व्यापारियों को ऐसे हालात में सरकार कोई मदद करें।
केंद्र सरकार के वित्त मंत्री से बात करके अप्रैल माह की मई में जमा होने वाली जीएसटी की राशि 6 माह के लिए स्थगित की जाए ताकि व्यापारी जीएसटी की राशि से अपना व्यापार खड़ा कर सके। सरकार से यह आग्रह किया है की व्यापारियों की बैंक लोन लिमिट पर लगने वाले ब्याज में रियायत दी जाये,यह व्यापारी वर्ग के लिऐ संजीवनी बूटी साबित होगी। किरयाणा, मेडिकल, दूध, बीज की दुकानों को तो छूट मिल जाती है परंतु एक माह से बंद पड़ी दुकानों में धूल-मिट्टी और भारी बरसात से सीलन आ चुकी है इसलिए बाकी दुकानों को आधे दिन की छूट दस दिन में एक बार साफ-सफाई करने के लिए अवश्य प्रदान कि जाये।
