उपायुक्त पूनिया ने शुक्रवार को नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल (एनजीटी) के निर्देशों की पूर्ण अनुपालना के उद्देश्य से संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि 31 दिसंबर, 2020 तक सीवर कनैक्शन तथा एसटीपी संबंधी सभी कार्यों को पूर्ण किया जाए।
पूनिया ने शुक्रवार को लघु सचिवालय में अध्यक्षता करते हुए उन्होंने एनजीटी के निर्देशानुसार विशेष रूप से गंदे पानी की निकासी के प्रबंध किए जाने जरूरी हैं। इसके लिए सीवर लाइन तथा एसटीपी का काम पूरा करना होगा। नये सीवर कनैक्शन देते हुए निकासी की बेहतरीन व्यवस्था की जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि निर्धारित तिथि का यह सभी कार्य पूरे किये जायें। इसके लिए सभी विभाग आपसी तालमेल को बेहतरीन बनायें।
पूनिया ने स्पेशल एन्वायरन्मेंटल सर्विलांस टास्क फोर्स (एसईएसटीएफ) को भी निर्देश दिए कि वे हर माह ऐसी औद्योगिक इकाइयों की गंभीरता से जांच करें जो जल प्रदूषण का कारण बनती है। ऐसी इकाइयों में जरूरी मानकों की पड़ताल की जाए। यदि कोई औद्योगिक इकाई भूजल दूषित करती है तो उसके खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाए। साथ ही केमिकल युक्त पानी खुले में छोडऩे वाली इकाइयों के खिलाफ भी सख्त कार्रवाई को अंजाम दें। उपायुक्त ने नगर निगम के अधिकारियों को सेफ्टी टैंकों की जांच के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि सभी सेफ्टी टैंकों का पंजीकरण किया जाए। गैर-पंजीकृत सेफ्टी टैंकों के चालान किये जायें। बिना पंजीकरण के इनको कोई अनुमति नहीं दी जाए। इसके अलावा उन्होंने गंदे पानी की निकासी को लेकर विस्तार से मंथन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि कहीं भी गंदे पानी का जमावड़ा नहीं होना चाहिए। गंदे पानी की निकासी को सुदृढ़ किया जाए।
