जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी एवं उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा कि सभी एसएसटी, एफएसटी व वीएसटी से जुड़े सभी अधिकारी 33-बरोदा विधानसभा उपचुनाव-2020 प्रक्रिया के दौरान अपना कार्य पूरी निष्ठा एवं लगन के साथ करें।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी एवं उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा कि सभी एसएसटी, एफएसटी व वीएसटी से जुड़े सभी अधिकारी 33-बरोदा विधानसभा उपचुनाव-2020 प्रक्रिया के दौरान अपना कार्य पूरी निष्ठा एवं लगन के साथ करें। ताकि कोई भी राजनीतिक पार्टी या व्यक्ति आचार संहित का उल्लघन न कर सके। जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी गुरूवार को लघु सचिवालय के तृतीय तल स्थित मीटिंग हॉल में आयोजित बैठक में एसएसटी (स्टेटिक सर्विलैंस टीम), एफएसटी(फ्लाईंग स्क्वायड टीम) व वीएसडटी (वीडियों सर्विलैंस टीम) से जुड़े अधिकारियों को दिशा-निर्देश दे रहे थे।
उन्होंने कहा कि चैकिंग के दौरान अगर किसी गाड़ी में 50 हजार रूपये से ज्यादा की राशि हो, 10 हजार रूपये से अधिक राशि का गिफ्ट आईटम व सोना-चांदी मिलती है और टीम के अधिकारियों को उक्त राशि एवं गिफ्ट आईटम पर संदेह हो तो उसे सीज की जाए। उन्होंने बताया कि चैकिंग के दौरान सीज की गई राशि एवं अन्य सामान को खजाना कार्यालय में जमा करवाया जाए। इसके साथ-साथ नाकों पर की गई चैकिंग की रिपोर्ट प्रतिदिन भेजनी सुनिश्चित की जाए।
उन्होंने बताया कि चुनाव प्रक्रिया के दौरान किसी भी व्यक्ति को मतदान बारे धमकाना, डराना, पैसे का लेन-देन, धर्म व जाति के नाम पर वोट मांगना चुनाव आचार संहिता का उल्लंघन करने के अतिरिक्त कानूनी अपराध भी है। किसी भी क्षेत्र में अवैध शराब, चुरा पोस्त आदि पाया जाता है तो उसे जब्त करके संबंधित व्यक्ति के विरूद्ध कानूनी कार्यवाही की जाएगी।
बैठक में निर्वाचन तहसीलदार सरला कौशिक, चुनाव कानूनगो अमरेन्द्र दहिया, संजय श्रीवास्तव, वेदपाल सहित सभी एफएसटी, वीएसटी एवं एसएसटी से जुड़े अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
