गांव करेवड़ी के निवर्तमान सरपंच नरेश उर्फ नेशी की हत्या का मुख्य आरोपी जीआरपी ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। हत्या की साजिश सोनीपत जेल में रचने के बाद उसे अंजाम दिया गया सैट गोली मारी थी।

गिरफ्तार आरोपी गांव करेवड़ी निवासी साहिल है। वह कुख्यात कन्नू गैंग के सदस्य रोहित उर्फ नीटू का भतीजा है। उस पर निवर्तमान सरपंच की रैकी कर वारदात को अंजाम देने का आरोप है।

गांव करेवड़ी में 22 मई को रेलवे लाइन के पास निवर्तमान सरपंच नरेश उर्फ नेशी की चुनावी रंजिश में सात गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई थी। नरेश के भतीजे ने जीआरपी में मुकदमा दर्ज कराया था। उसने आरोप लगाया था कि पंजाब में पुलिस मुठभेड़ में मारे जा चुके कुख्यात अजय उर्फ कन्नू गैंग ने हत्याकांड को अंजाम दिया है। हत्या के षड्यंत्र में कन्नू की मां की मिलीभगत है। गांव के साहिल ने उसके चाचा की रैकी की और हमले में भी शामिल रहा। उसके चाचा ने कुख्यात कन्नू के भाई संजय को सरपंच के चुनाव में हराया था। बाद में संजय व उसके पिता आनंद की सडक़ हादसे में मौत हो गई थी।
जीआरपी इस मामले में कन्नू की मां को गिरफ्तार करने के साथ जेल में रहकर हत्या की साजिश रचने के आरोप में रोहित उर्फ नीटू, राकेश उर्फ काला व दीपक उर्फ फोर्ड को प्रोडक्शन वारंट पर लेकर पूछताछ कर चुकी है। आरोपियों ने बताया था कि उन्होंने मोनू लल्हेड़ी और साहिल को हत्या की जिम्मदारी सौंपी थी। अब पुलिस ने साहिल को गिरफ्तार कर रिमांड पर लिया है।
जीआरपी, थाना प्रभारी,महाबीर सिंह ने बताया कि निर्वतमान सरपंच की हत्या के मामले में मुख्य आरोपी साहिल को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। वह मुख्य साजिशकर्ताओं में शामिल रोहित उर्फ नीटू का भतीजा है। उसे तीन दिन के रिमांड पर लिया है पूछताछ की जा रही है।
