उन्होंने गुरुवार को कहा कि हरियाणा रोडवेज द्वारा तैयार की गई इन पांच मिनी एंबुलेंस बसों को लघु सचिवालय से हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना कर रहे थे। उन्होंने इस कार्य के लिए जीएम रोडवेज राजीव नागपाल को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि इन बसों को एक निर्धारित समय में तैयार किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि आपदा के समय में प्रत्येक संपत्ति जरूरतमंदों की मदद के लिए होती है। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले दिनों हरियाणा पुलिस द्वारा अपनी 10 गाड़ियां एंबुलेंस के लिए प्रदान की गई थी और आज यह 5 मिनी बसें हरियाणा रोडवेज द्वारा एंबुलेंस के तौर पर तैयार कर स्वास्थ्य विभाग को सौंपी जा रही हैं।

फरीदाबाद के उपायुक्त यशपाल ने कहा कि यह बसें विशेष तौर पर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में लोगों को तुरंत चिकित्सा सुविधा मुहैया करवाने के लिए प्रदान की गई है। उपायुक्त ने कहा कि अब हमारे पास एंबुलेंस में अन्य चिकित्सक वाहनों की अच्छी खासी संख्या है। उन्होंने लोगों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि कोरोना आपदा के इस दौर में कोविड-19 प्रोटोकॉल के नियमों का पालन करें। अपने घरों में रहे और किसी भी तरह का संक्रमण ने फैलने दें। इस दौरान उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों को भी निर्देश दिए कि वह इन मिनी बस एंबुलेंस का बेहतर ढंग से प्रयोग करें। इस अवसर पर एसडीएम परमजीत चहल, जीएम रोडवेज राजीव नागपाल, सीएमओ डॉ रणदीप सिंह पुनिया सहित विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
