बुद्ध पूर्णिमा के भगवान बुद्ध की प्रतिमा के सामने बुधवार को दीप एवं मोमबत्ती प्रज्वलित करने के बाद भाजपा नेत्री ने कहा कि आत्म दीपो भव: का संदेश हमें खुद को प्रकाशित करने एवं स्वयं पर जीत हासिल करने का संदेश देता है। उन्होंने कहा कि करोना के इस समय ने हमें हमारी महान संस्कृति के बुनियादी पहलुओं पर लौटने को विवश किया और यह संदेश दिया कि हमारी सदियों पुरानी परंपराएं मुश्किल से मुश्किल समय में भी प्रासंगिक है प्रतिमा के सामने अल्पसंख्यक मोर्चा के प्रदेश प्रभारी राजीव जैन, बेटी ख्वाहिश जैन तथा बेटे दिव्यांक जैन ने मोमबत्ती जलाई एवं श्रद्धा सुमन अर्पित किए।
राजीव जैन ने कहा कि क्षमा, संयम एवं त्याग बुद्धत्व का सार है और आज मानव जीवन को मिसाल बनाने के लिए हमें इन तीन मंत्रों को दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि महात्मा बुद्ध ने न केवल धर्म का प्रचार किया, विचार क्रांति के माध्यम से समाज को नई दिशा दी। हम उनकी प्रेरणा का प्रचार प्रसार करने में योगदान दें।
