लंदन/जीजेडी न्यूज: कैबिनेट सदस्यों द्वारा सामूहिक इस्तीफे की लहर से प्रभावित, ब्रिटेन के प्रधान मंत्री बोरिस जॉनसन ने गुरुवार को यूके की कंजरवेटिव पार्टी के नेता के रूप में इस्तीफा दे दिया। जॉनसन के इस्तीफे ने अब एक टोरी नेता के लिए नेतृत्व की तलाश शुरू कर दी है जो आगे जाकर यूके का नया प्रधान मंत्री बनेगा।

सनक को ब्रिटेन के अगले प्रधान मंत्री के लिए शीर्ष दावेदार माना जाता है और अगर यह सच हो जाता है, तो वह ब्रिटिश प्रधान मंत्री बनने वाले पहले भारतीय मूल के व्यक्ति होंगे।
कौन हैं ऋषि सुनक, जो ब्रिटेन के अगले पीएम बन सकते हैं?
1. सनक बेंगलुरु स्थित आईटी बेलवेदर इंफोसिस के संस्थापक एनआर नारायण मूर्ति के दामाद भी हैं। 42 वर्षीय सनक पहले भारतीय मूल के राजनेता हैं, जिन्होंने कुलाधिपति के ब्रिटेन के उच्च कैबिनेट कार्यालय को संभाला है। कंजर्वेटिव पार्टी के सांसद कठिन महामारी के समय के दौरान अपने बॉस द्वारा आर्थिक नीति को संभालने से निराश थे।
2. सनक का जन्म और पालन-पोषण तटीय अंग्रेजी शहर साउथेम्प्टन में हुआ था। हाल ही में विंडसर में यूके-इंडिया अवार्ड्स के दौरान, सनक ने अपने राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य सेवा (एनएचएस) के सामान्य चिकित्सक (जीपी) पिता यशवीर और फार्मासिस्ट मां उषा द्वारा किए गए बलिदानों की बात की।
