स्टार भारतीय तीरंदाज दीपिका कुमारी ने सोमवार को विश्व कप चरण 3 में स्वर्ण पदक की हैट्रिक के बाद वैश्विक रैंकिंग में नंबर एक स्थान हासिल कर लिया। सबसे पहले दीपिका ने महिला टीम के साथ फाइनल में मैक्सिको को 5-1 से हराकर गोल्ड मेडल जीतने का कमाल किया।
एसएस न्यूज.पेरिस। स्टार भारतीय तीरंदाज दीपिका कुमारी ने सोमवार को विश्व कप चरण 3 में स्वर्ण पदक की हैट्रिक के बाद वैश्विक रैंकिंग में नंबर एक स्थान हासिल कर लिया। सबसे पहले दीपिका ने महिला टीम के साथ फाइनल में मैक्सिको को 5-1 से हराकर गोल्ड मेडल जीतने का कमाल किया। इसके बाद अपने पति अतानू दास के साथ मिलकर तीरंदाजी विश्व कप के मिक्स्ड रिकर्व इवेंट में गोल्ड मेडल जीतने का कमाल किया। यही नहीं दीपिका ने व्यक्तिगत इवेंट कमाल दिखाया और रूस की एलिना ओसिपोवा को 6-0 से हराकर गोल्ड मेडल पर कब्जा जमाने का कमाल कर दिखाया। टोक्यो ओलंपिक से पहले दीपिका ने अपने परफॉ़र्मेंस से हर भारतीय को एक उम्मीद दे दी है। इस साल टोक्यो ओलिंपिक 23 जुलाई से 8 अगस्त तक होना है।

शाबाश दीपिका कुल मिलाकर उनके नाम विश्व कप में नौ स्वर्ण, 12 रजत और सात कांस्य पदक हैं।
विश्व तीरंदाजी में गोल्ड जीतने के बाद दीपिका ने कहा, “मैं खुश हूं, लेकिन साथ ही मुझे अपने इस प्रदर्शन को जारी रखना है। “यह पहली बार है जब मैंने विश्व कप में तीनों पदक जीते हैं। मैं वास्तव में खुश हूं लेकिन साथ ही, मुझे सुधार जारी रखना होगा क्योंकि हमारे पास कुछ बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण प्रतियोगिताएं हैं।” बताया था
