फरीदाबाद में क्रिकेट मैच पर सट्टा लगाते 5 आरोपी रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार

कैरेबियन प्रीमियर लीग टी-ट्वंटी क्रिकेट मैच पर सट्टा लगाने वाले एक गिरोह का फरीदाबाद पुलिस ने पर्दाफाश करते हुए पांच आरोपियों को रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने आरोपियों के कब्जे 1.4 लाख रूपए नगद भी बरामद किए है। एसीपी श्रीमती धारणा यादव ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि सेक्टर 30 की टीम ने जितेंद्र, प्रवीण उर्फ घोसी, गौरव उर्फ टिंकू, नीरज कुमार उर्फ हनी, दिविज उर्फ हनी को गिरफ्तार किया है। सभी आरोपी एनआईटी एरिया फरीदाबाद के रहने वाले हैं। क्राइम ब्रांच सेक्टर 30 की टीम ने आरोपियों के खिलाफ गैंबलिंग एक्ट के तहत मामला थाना सूरजकुंड में दर्ज कराया है। क्राईम ब्राचं सै0 30 को सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के आधार पर कार्यवाही करते हुए आरोपियों को चारमवुड विलेज सोसायटी सूरजकुंड से दबोचा गया।
आरोपी सीपीएल के मैच पर सट्टा खेल रहे थे। आरोपी जमाइका बनाम सेंट किट की टीम के बीच चल रहे क्रिकेट मैच पर सट्टा लगा रहे थे। पूछताछ पर आरोपियों ने बताया कि आईपीएल मैचों में देरी के कारण कैरीबियन प्रीमीयर लीग के मैच के दौरान रोजाना लाखों रुपए दांव पर लगाए जा रहे हैं। टेक्नोलॉजी के युग में अब सट्टेबाजी का ट्रेंड भी बदल गया है पहले जहां फोन करके भाव पूछे जाते थे अब वहां हम मोबाइल में ही भाव देखकर बिना बोले सट्टा खेलने का काम कर लेते हैं एलईडी पर लाइव चल रहे मैच को हार-जीत, प्रत्येक बाल, प्रत्येक ओवर, खिलाड़ी, बोलर, यहां तक कि अंपायर के फैसले को लेकर भी सट्टा लगाया जाता है। एसीपी क्राइम अनिल यादव ने बताया कि पिछले तीन चार महीने से आरोपी जगह बदल बदल कर सट्टा खेलने का काम कर रहे थे। पुलिस ने मौके से आरोपियों के कब्जे से 104000 रुपए नगद, 4 लैपटॉप, 11 मोबाइल फोन, 1 एलईडी टीवी, सट्टा स्लिप, सेटअप बॉक्स बरामद कर कानूनी कार्यवाही की गई।
