सोनीपत: हरियाणा के राज्यपाल बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने मोतीलाल नेहरू स्कूल ऑफ स्पोर्टस राई (एमएनएसएस) के स्वर्ण जयंती समारोह एवं 47वें वार्षिकोत्सव के मौके पर बतौर मुख्य अतिथि उद्बोधन में रविवार को कहा कि बेटियों को शिक्षा और खेलों में प्रोत्साहन दिया जाए बेटियां आगे बढेंगी तो तभ राष्ट्र आगे बढेगा।
राज्यपाल बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने सबका आह्वान किया हरियाणा देश का नंबर-1 राज्य है। एमएनएसएस राई को भी देश का नंबर-1 विद्यालय बनाना है। एजुकेशन टुडे सर्वे एजेंसी के सर्वे के आधार पर देशभर में सर्वाधिक पसंद किया जाने वाला विद्यालय घोषित किया गया। ज्यूरीज च्वाईस अवार्ड से विद्यालय को सम्मानित किया गया। विद्यालय ने पांच बार राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर हरित विद्यालय पुरस्कार व चेंज मेकर श्रेणी में नंबर-1 विद्यालय का पुरस्कार जीता है। स्कूल द्वारा स्वच्छ विद्यालय पुरस्कार जीतने के साथ एजुकेशन वर्ल्ड पत्रिका में प्रदेश में प्रथम व देशभर में तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि नई खेल नीति ने दिए बेहतरीन परिणाम, हरियाणा का खेल बजट अन्य राज्यों से अधिक हैं।खेल-खिलाडिय़ों के लिए 600 करोड़ रुपये जबकि ढ़ांचागत खेल सुविधाओं पर 526 करोड़ रुपये खर्च किये हैं।
खेल मंत्री संदीप सिंह ने कहा कि हिंदुस्तान में पहली बार आठवीं कक्षा तक के विद्यार्थियों की खेल प्रतियोगिताएं करवायेंगे। बच्चे मोबाईल फोन से दूर रहेंगे और जंक फूड से छुटकारा मिलेगा। हरियाणा को दो बार बेस्ट स्टेट स्पोर्टस अवार्ड मिलना गौरव की बात है। मोतीलाल नेहरू स्कूल ऑफ स्पोर्टस राई की स्वर्ण जयंती एवं 47वें वार्षिकोत्सव का भव्य आयोजन। खेलकूद के साथ सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों की मनोहारी प्रस्तुतियां दी गई।
खेल मंत्री संदीप सिंह ने कहा कि हरियाण आज खेलों में अव्वल है। कॉमनवैल्थ गेम्स में हमारे खिलाडिय़ों ने 22 बार राष्ट्रीय गान के साथ तिरंगा लहराया। जब से मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल ने हरियाणा की कमान संभाली है तब से हर क्षेत्र में नये आयाम स्थापित हो रहे हैं। हमारे खिलाडिय़ों ने 52 स्वर्ण सहित 137 पदक जीते। गुजरात में हुए राष्ट्रीय खेलों में भी 38 स्वर्ण सहित 116 पदक हासिल किए। राष्ट्रीय खेलों में सर्विसेज की टीम अव्वल रही, जिसमें 80 प्रतिशत खिलाड़ी हरियाणा के थे। ऐसे में बढ़ता हुआ हरियाणा दिखाई दे रहा है। सांसद रमेश कौशिक तथा उपायुक्त ललित सिवाच ने भी एमएनएसएस राई के स्वर्ण जयंती समारोह व वार्षिकोत्सव की बधाई दी।
