भारत का ऑपरेशन गंगा: IAF ने यूक्रेन के पड़ोसी देशों से 629 भारतीय नागरिकों को सुरक्षित वापस लाया

नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: भारतीय वायु सेना ने शनिवार को ऑपरेशन गंगा के तहत संकटग्रस्त देश के पड़ोसी देशों रोमानिया, स्लोवाकिया और पोलैंड से यूक्रेन से निकाले गए 629 भारतीय नागरिकों को ऑपरेशन गंगा के तहत वापस लाया। समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई ने बताया। IAF की ओर से एक आधिकारिक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है, “IAF के तीन C-17 भारी-भरकम परिवहन विमान, जिन्होंने शुक्रवार को हिंडन एयरबेस से उड़ान भरी थी, निकाले गए भारतीयों के साथ शनिवार की सुबह वापस बेस पर उतरे। इस सप्ताह की शुरुआत में, प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने प्रक्रिया को तेज करने के लिए निकासी मिशन में IAF को शामिल किया था। IAF के विमान भी यूक्रेन के पड़ोसी देशों के लिए राहत सामग्री ले जा रहे हैं।
IAF ने ट्वीट किया, “उन्होंने 16.5 टन राहत सामग्री को बाहर की यात्रा पर ले जाया था। एएनआई के अनुसार, अब तक IAF ने यूक्रेन और उसके पड़ोसी देशों में 2,056 यात्रियों और 26 टन राहत सामग्री को लेकर 10 उड़ानें भरी हैं। विदेश राज्य मंत्री वी मुरलीधरन ने कहा कि यूक्रेन से अब तक लगभग 11,000 भारतीयों को निकाला गया है। 24 फरवरी को, रूस ने यूक्रेन पर आक्रमण किया जिससे हजारों भारतीय नागरिक संघर्ष प्रभावित यूक्रेन में फंसे हुए थे।

यूक्रेन-रूस संघर्ष में अब तक दो भारतीय नागरिकों की मौत हो चुकी है और एक घायल हो गया है। एक छात्र की किराने की दुकान पर कतार में खड़े होने के दौरान गोलाबारी में मौत हो गई, और दूसरे की मौत हृदय गति रुकने से हुई।
