सोनीपत के उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने बहालगढ रोड फिम्स अस्पताल का निरीक्षण किया। उपायुक्त ने चिकित्सक दल के साथ अस्पताल का निरीक्षण शुरू किया। उपायुक्त एवं चिकित्सकों की टीम ने पूरी गहनता से अस्पताल में बने ऑक्सीजन वार्ड की जांच करी। उन्होंने इस मौके पर ऑक्सीजन, वेंटीलेटर, आईसीयू, ऑक्सीजन बैड तथा सामान्य बैड की जानकारी हासिल की तथा अस्पताल में 26 अप्रैल से आज तक भर्ती मरीजों का रजिस्ट्रेशन एवं संख्या बारे विस्तार से पूछा।

उपायुक्त ने अस्पताल प्रशासन तथा जिला के चिकित्सक अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि अस्पताल में मरीजों से ली जाने वाली फीस की लिस्ट विस्तृत ब्यौरे सहित सभी अस्पतालों में लगवाएं ताकि किसी गरीब व्यक्ति को अस्पताल द्वारा ठगी का शिकार न बनाया जा सके। इस दौरान उपायुक्त ने कहा कि किसी भी कोविड अस्पताल में सरकार द्वारा जारी की गई एसओपी की उल्लंघना पाई गई तो सख्त कार्रवाई करने में पीछे नहीं हटेंगे। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि इस महामारी के दौर में प्रशासन द्वारा लगातार कोविड अस्पतालों पर पैनी नजर बनाई जा रही है।

फिम्स अस्पताल पर लगाए गए नोडल अधिकारी प्रबंध निदेशक चीनी मिल सुरेन्द्र सिंह दून ने विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि उपायुक्त को भरोसा दिलवाया कि कोविड से संक्रमित किसी भी मरीज के ईलाज में कोई कौताही नहीं बरतने दी जाएगी। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि सरकार की हिदायतानुसार कोविड के संक्रमण को रोकने के लिए सभी नियमों की पालना सुनिश्चित करवाई जाएगी। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि उपायुक्त द्वारा किए गए औचक निरीक्षण का तात्पर्य भी यही हैं कि कोविड से संक्रमित मरीजों को किसी प्रकार की दिक्कत का सामना न करना पड़ेे।

उन्होंने कहा कि किसी मरीज को ऑक्सीजन और वेंटीलेटर की जरूरत हो तभी उन्हें वेंटीलेटर पर रखा जाए और ऑक्सीजन दी जाए। यदि उनके संज्ञान में यह बात आई कि मरीज से पैसे ऐठने के लिए उसे डराकर वेंटीलेटर पर रखा जा रहा है इस बात को हरगिज बरदास्त नहीं किया जाएगा। इस मौके पर डॉ दिनेश छिल्लर भी उपस्थित थे।
